RO: De când cu bebeluseala, avem un apetit de nestăvilit! Pesemne că rolul nou de părinți este de-a dreptul ostenitor 😀 Pentru că indiferent ce și cum facem, toate drumurile și discuțiile duc către același subiect: mâncarea! Cel mai probabil de vină sunt prietenii din Montreal care ne-au tentat ani de-a rândul cu locuri interesante și mâncăruri delicioase încercate peste tot pe unde am călătorit împreună, cert e că de ceva vreme avem un chef nebun să descoperim restaurante, baruri, lounge-uri, oriceeee are legătură cu mâncarea bună în București. Iar cum vremea bună încă mai ține cu noi (“long live” încălzirea globală :D), încă mai avem parte de ceva brunch-uri de duminică în aer liber 🙂 Și slavă cerului, București-ul e plin de locuri frumoase în care să îți petreci o după-amiază chill de duminică cu prietenii. Așa că am lansat un nou proiect pe blog, #coolrestaurantsprinlume, în cadrul căruia vom include toate restaurantele drăguțe pe care le descoperim în București și nu numai 🙂 Și începem lista cu un loc tare drag nouă, în care ne-am petrecut mai toată vara cu Alexei, și anume Suento 🙂 Fratele mai micuț al lui Gram Bistro de la Victoriei, un picuț mai personal, mai intim, mai hipsteresc cum ne place nouă să-l definim, cu o grădină genial de drăguță unde sincer, ne simțim de parcă am fi în curtea casei noastre 🙂

EN: Since we’ve started our baby life we have an unstoppable appetite! Seems like our new role as parents is completely overwhelming 😀 Because no matter what we do, everything leads to the same subject: food! We blame it on our friends from Montreal that tempted us for so many years with interesting places and delicious foods to try all over the world. One thing is certain, for quite a while we’re so in the mood for discovering new restaurants, bars, lounges and anythiiiiing related to good food in Bucharest. And as the weather is still nice (“long live” global warming :D), we can still enjoy some Sunday afternoon brunches 🙂 And luckily, Bucharest is full of beautiful places where one can enjoy a chill Sunday afternoon with friends. So we just launched a new project on our blog, #coolrestaurantsprinlume, where we will include all the nice restaurants that we find in Bucharest and evrywhere else 🙂 And we’re starting the list with a place that we really love, where we actually spent our entire summer with baby Alexei, and that’s Suento 🙂 Gram Bistro ‘s little brother (from Victory’s Square), a bit more personal, more intimate, more hipsterish as we like to call it, with an extremely cute garden, where we feel as if we would be in our own courtyard 🙂

RO: Cât despre mâncare… nici n-am știi cu ce să începem întâi, pentru că orice am încercat din meniul lor a fost DELICIOS! Și dacă tot am uitat de diete și restricții, începem cu guilty pleasures-urile la Suento: cartofii prăjiți sunt demențiali, platoul cu brânză e un adevărat dezmăț culinar, bruschetele sunt de-a dreptul perfeeeeeecte, burgerii așa cum trebuie (zice “burger lover”-ul familiei), mâncărurile vegetariene delicioaseeeee (platoul cu humus cu muguri de pin, quesadilla vegetariană și spread-urile de brânză cu pită grecească sunt geniale!) iar deșerturile complet decadente! Iar dacă ar fi să spunem motivul principal pentru care tânjim să venim la Suento în fiecare duminică dimineață… ei bine e cafeaua! “Capuccino cel mare”, într-o cană uriașă, credem noi că e de departe cea mai bună cafea din oraș 😀 În plus, au un cont de  Instagram  tare drăgălaș, pe care îl urmărim cu drag. De altfel, niciodată nu comandăm din meniu, alegem felurile de mâncare din pozele postate de ei în social media 😀 “Cocktail-ul roz de pe Insta”, “platoul colorat”, “cartofii din poză”, “capuccino ăla mare”, sunt alias-urile preferate când comandăm 😀 Așa că de aveți vreo duminică liberă, sigur o să vă placă la Suento! Și dacă tot e încă vreme superbă afară, chiar merită încercată grădina, e superbă!

EN: As for the food… we don’t even know what should we tell first, as everything that we’ve tried from their menu was absolutely DELICIOUS! And now that we have forgotten about diets and restrictions, we’ll start with our guilty pleasures at Suento: the french fries are to die for, the cheese platter is a real feast, the bruschettas are simply perfeeeeect, the burgers are just the right thing (the “burger lover” of the family says so), the vegetarian foods are delicious (the platter with hummus and pine seeds, the vegetarian quesadilla and the cheese spreads with Greek pita bread are genius!) and the desserts are simply decadent! And if we were to tell our main reason why we always want to come back to Suento… oh well, it’s the coffee! “Capuccino The Great”, in a huge mug, for us is the best coffee in town by far 😀 Beside all these, they have a really cute Instagram account and we love following their posts. To be honest, we never order reading the menu, we choose the food from the pictures posted by them in social media 😀 “The pink cocktail from Instagram”, “the colorful platter”, “the fries from the picture”, these are our favourite aliases when we order 😀 So if you have a free Sunday morning, you’ll love spending it at Suento! And now that the weather outside is so gorgeous, you should really try their lovely garden!
