RO: Suntem probabil cei mai neexperimentați oameni când vine vorba de Grecia și asta pentru că din toate cele 227 de insule locuite ale țării (dintr-un total de peste 6000 de insule și insulițe care aparțin Greciei), am vizitat O SINGURĂ insulă grecească până acum. Fără să vrem, am intrat în clubul anti-vacanțelor în Grecia, considerând mereu că este o destinație mult prea turistică, mult prea accesibilă și mult prea cunoscută. Ba chiar spuneam adesea că nu are ce să te surprindă în Grecia, că totul este previzibil, că toate insulele păr să fie făcute după același tipar, iar turismul de tip all-inclusive nu a fost niciodată pe gustul nostru. Însă după venirea lui Alexei, și mai ales după câteva excursii în destinații friguroase în care ne-a fost destul de dificil din punct de vedere logistic, am primit un sfat extrem de înțelept de la una din prietenele noastre mai experimentate în ale parenthood-ului: câtă vreme Alexei e micuț și are nevoie de destul de multe lucruri (cărucior, sistem, aparat de gătit, jucării, scutece etc) să alegem destinații unde să ne putem relaxa și noi printre picături. Să nu fim mereu on the run, să nu fim mereu agitați iar la sfârșitul zilei să caden lați, epuizați după o zi-maraton. Și chiar dacă inițial am spus că nu vrem să urmăm acest sfat (pentru că avem putere, pentru că noi ne relaxăm în alergătură și alte contra argumente asemenea), am ajuns la concluzia că aceasta este perioada optimă pentru a ne bucura de destinații mai liniștite precum Grecia. Mai ales că nu am avut ocazia să o descoperim până acum 🙂

EN: We are probably the most inexperienced persons when it comes to Greece and that’s because from all those 227 inhabited Greek islands (from a total of 6000 islands and islets that belong to Greece) we only visited ONE so far. Without intending, we somehow ended being quite against vacations in Greece, always considering that this destination is either way too touristic for us, way too accessible and known by so many people. We often even said that there’s nothing surprising in Greece, that everything is so predictable, that all the islands seem to be made by the same pattern and the all-inclusive tourism was never our thing. But after we had Alexei and after several trips in colder destinations where it was quite complicated from a logistic point of view, we received a wise advice from a friend of ours with more experience in parenthood: as long as Alexei is so small and needs so many things (baby stroller, baby carrier, cooking tools like the steamer, toys, diapers etc) to focus on destinations where we can actually relax a bit. So to avoid destinations where we’re always on the run, always chaotic and where at the end of the day we’re simply dead tired after a long marathon of sightseeing. And even though we initially said that we don’t want to follow this advice (as we considered ourselves strong, and our relaxation comes with chaos in our trips and all sort of similar arguments), we ended up concluding that this is the best time in our lives to enjoy destinations like Greece. Especially because we haven’t had the chance to discover it until now 🙂

INFORMAȚII GENERALE / GENERAL INFORMATION

RO: Vom începe prin a menționa câteva aspecte logistice ale excursiei noastre, urmând ca apoi să cuprindem în acest articol toată documentarea noastră și toate locurile frumoase care ar merita văzute. Am ales pentru a doua oară să mergem în vacanță cu o agenție de turism (prima oară a fost în luna de miere în Maldive, acum 8 ani) și asta pentru că voiam să fie totul aranjat, să nu ne stresăm cu absolut nimic (în mod special pentru că nu mergeam cu Andrei în această excursie, care de obicei se ocupă de tot ce înseamnă organizare și rezervări). Astfel că vacanța în Creta a fost organizată de cei de la COCKTAIL HOLIDAYS, care s-au ocupat de absolut tot, de la avion (un zbor charter Tarom până în Chania), până la rezervare de hotel (în Rethimnon la Dimitrios Beach Hotel ), transferuri către hotel și aeroport, excursiile opționale sau mașină închiriată (pe care o aduc și o iau ei din fața hotelului). Am ales să stăm cât mai la mijlocul insulei, pentru a fi relativ ușor să ajungem în mai multe puncte ale insulei, însă ulterior am realizat ca într-o săptămână e imposibil să vezi întreaga insulă. Nu degeaba este cea mai mare insulă grecească, distanțele sunt mari, iar sfatul nostru ar fi să ne focusam pe una-două regiuni ale insulei, fără a face maraton de vizitat toate cele patru regiuni (de la vest la est Chania, Rethimno, Heraklion-unde se află capitala și Lassithi). Creta e o destinație foarte accesibilă (la 1h50min distanță cu avionul) așa că merită descoperită ușor, bucurându-ne de fiecare loc în parte 🙂 Un alt aspect logistic foarte important: plata cu cardul este în general acceptată la orice hotel sau restaurant, însă deseori ni s-a întâmplat să ni se spună că nu le merge POS-ul, că este prea vechi ca să accepte plata cu carduri noi sau că ar prefera cash. Dar hey, pretențiile noastre de a plăti cu ApplePay în Grecia erau puțin nerealiste (deși recunoaștem că am reușit să o facem în anumite locuri :D). În schimb, erau destul de des întâlnite bancomatele, așa că nu a fost o problemă extrem de mare faptul că am venit fără (niciun fel de) bani cash în Grecia 😀 Aaa, și să nu uităm. E cald. E foarte, foarte cald iar soarele este extrem de puternic, așa cum de altfel e și normal să fie într-o țară situată mai la sud ca orașele africane Tunis sau Alger 🙂

EN: We will start by mentioning some practical information about our trip and then we will include in this article all our research about Crete and all the beautiful places that are worth seeing here. This was our second trip organized by a tourism agency (first one was our honeymoon in the Maldives 8 years ago) and that’s because we wanted to have everything settled and not stress about anything (especially because Andrei was not joining us in this trip, as he is usually the one who plans and handles bookings and so on). So our trip in Crete was organized by COCKTAIL HOLIDAYS travel agency and they arranged everything, from the airplane tickets (a charter flight to Chania from Tarom) to the hotel bookings (we stayed at Dimitrios Beach Hotel in Rethimnon), transfer to the hotel and to the airport, optional excursions or rental car (which they can bring and take from the hotel, so no need to go to another rental company office). We have chosen to stay somewhere in the middle of the island, so that we can be at a reasonable distance from every point of the island, but by the end of our trip we realized that it is almost impossible to see everything Crete has to offer in only one week. In the end, it is the largest Greek island and that explains the long distances, so our advice would be to focus on only one or two regions of the island without trying to see all four of them (from west to east we have Chania region, Rethimno, Heraklion with the capital and Lassithi). Crete is quite an easy accessible destination (only 1h50min flight from Bucharest) so it should be discovered slowly, enjoying each of the places we see 🙂 Another very important logistic aspect: paying by card is usually accepted at every hotel or restaurant, however we were often told that the POS is not working, or that it is to old to accept paying with newer cards or that they simply prefer cash. But hey, our expectations to pay with ApplePay in Greece were a bit unrealistic (although we’ve been able to do it several times :D). Anyways, there were quite a lot of ATMs so it wasn’t such a big deal that we came with absolutely no cash at all in Greece 😀  Oh, and let’s not forget. It is hot. Extremely hot but that seems just normal for a place that is situated south of African towns like Tunis or Alger 🙂

TRANSPORT / TRANSPORTATION

RO: Fără doar și poate, Creta trebuie văzută cu mașina de închiriat. Sunt multe locuri spectaculoase care nu sunt ușor accesibile cu transportul în comun. În plus, mașina închiriată oferă o flexibilitate fantastică, chiar dacă distanțele sunt lungi, se pot vedea foarte multe locuri minunate. Drumurile sunt în general bune, atâta doar că se conduce puțin haotic iar regulile de circulație nu se respectă. Ba chiar un localnic ne spunea glumind că linia dublă continuă este doar pictură 🙂 În plus, trebuie însă avut grijă la parcări (în unele locuri este interzisă) și ni s-a spus că este destul de periculos de parcat pe marginea drumului, acolo unde există copaci. Asta pentru că pe insulă sunt foarte multe capre, care se vor urca pe mașini ca să ajungă la frunzele copacilor și vor distruge mașinile. Funny but true 🙂 Este însă mai dificil cu mașină închiriată pentru cei care călătoresc cu copii mici, este o adevărată provocare de găsit un scaun rear facing de copil peste un an (de fapt, nici nu se știa ce este rear facing). Fiind fără Andrei (cel care conduce întotdeauna în excursiile noastre), am ales să nu închiriem mașina și să luăm câteva excursii opționale de la agenție, către cele mai emblematice locuri de pe insulă. Există însă și autobuze, în care se poate ajunge în diverse locuri de pe insulă, am găsit o listă cu destinațiile din fiecare oraș în acest link, însă ni s-a părut destul de complicat de mers cu autobuzul cu un copil mic, cu cărucior și multe alte lucruri de cărat după noi. Însă poate fi o varianta bună (și clar mult mai ieftină) pentru cei mai flexibili. Nu există trenuri pe insulă, autobuzele sunt singura opțiune de transport în comun din Creta. Cât despre taxiuri, am folosit o singură dată taxiul și asta într-o situație oarecum de urgență, când a trebuit să ajungem de la o tavernă tradițională (aflată cam la 30-40 minute de condus de Rethimnon) până la hotelul nostru. Taxiurile din Creta sunt foarte bine dotate (în general mașini de lux), foarte sigure și surprinzător, nu foarte scumpe. Pentru acel drum de la tavernă (pe timp de noapte când se aplică un tarif adițional) am plătit 40 de euro. Însă pentru cursele scurte, de la hotel în centrul orașului, ne-ar fi costat aproximativ 5 euro. Neavând însă scaune auto pentru copii, am evitat să le folosim.

EN: Without a doubt, Crete needs to be seen with a rental car. There are many spectacular places that are not easily accessible with public transportation. Besides, a rental car can give us flexibility and even if the distances are long, there can be seen a lot of beautiful places. The roads are good in general, but the locals drive a bit chaotic and the rules are definitely not followed. A local told us that the double unbroken white lines are just a painting 🙂 Besides, tourists need to be extra careful when parking (in some places parking it is not allowed) and we’ve also been told that it is quite dangerous to park on the side of the road, close to trees. And that’s because there are a lot of goats on the island and they can climb and obviously destroy the cars just to reach the leaves of the trees. Funny but true 🙂 But it is harder with the rental cars for those who are traveling with small babies, it is a real challenge to find a rear facing car seat for a 1year old baby (actually they don’t even know what rear facing means). Being in Crete without Andrei (the one who always drives in our trips), we have chosen not to rent a car but to book several trips from our travel agency to see the most iconic places of the island. There are also buses, which can take us to different points on the island, we found a list with destinations from each town in this link, but we found it quite complicated to travel by bus with a small baby, with stroller and lots of other things to carry with us. But it can be a good option (and definitely cheaper) for those that are more flexible than us. There are no trains on the island, buses are the only form of public transportation in Crete. As for the cabs, we only used once a cab and that was quite an urgent situation, when he head to leave from a traditional tavern (that was 30-40 minutes driving away from Rethimno) to reach our hotel. Cabs in Crete are in general luxurious cars, really safe and surprisingly, not that expensive. For that trip from the tavern to our hotel we had to pay around 40 euros (but it also included an extra night fee). But for shorter rides, from the hotel to the town center we would have payed approximately 5 euros. But considering the fact that they did not have baby car seats, we avoided using them.

CAZARE / ACCOMMODATION

RO: Credem că locurile de cazare ar trebui alese oarecum strategic, în funcție de regiunea Cretei în care se va petrece mai mult timp. Și asta pentru că altfel se va petrece destul de mult timp pe transport, pentru a ajunge în diverse puncte emblematice ale insulei (spre exemplu din orașul Rethimnon până la plaja Elafonissi se fac 2,5 ore cu mașina). Cel mai adesea turiștii vor să vadă plaje spectaculoase și atunci e bine de știut că cele mai renumite plaje (Balos Beach, Elafonissi Beach-cea cunoscută drept plaja cu nisip roz și Fallasarna Beach) se află în vestul insulei. Dacă acestea vor fi focusul excursiei, poate că ar fi potrivită o cazare în zonă vestică. Mergând cu Alexei și nefiind împreună cu Andrei, am vrut să alegem o cazare care să aibă cât mai multe facilități, ca să ne fie mai ușor. Astfel că ne-am orientat documentarea către hoteluri de 4 și 5 stele și pentru că nu vrem să le pierdem sau să le uităm, pe trecem pe toate în scris, poate inspiră pe cineva care urmează să plece în Creta 🙂 Cei de la Cocktail Holidays ne-au recomandat hotelul Molos Bay4*  si Euphoria Resort 5* (aproape de portul Kissamos) și probabil că ar fi fost mai înțelept să alegem unul dintre acestea decât pe cel din Rethimno, având în vedere că fix aceasta a fost zona vizitată de noi.

EN: We believe that accommodation should be chosen a bit strategically, depending on the region in Crete where the most time will be spent. And that’s because otherwise a lot of time will be spend traveling, trying to reach different places on the island (for instance, from Rethimno to Elafonissi beach there are 2,5h driving). In general, tourists want to see spectacular beaches so it is good to know that the most renowned beaches of Crete (Balos Beach, Elafonissi Beach – the one know as the Pink Beach and Fallasarna Beach) are all in the west part of the island. If these will be the focus of the trip, maybe it would worth staying in the western part of the island. As we were traveling with Alexei with Andrei with us, we wanted to choose a hotel than has a lot of facilities just to be easier for us. So we focused on 4 and 5 stars hotels and because we don’t want to loose them or forget them, we will put all of them in written, in case someone will be inspired by one of them if planning to go to Crete 🙂 Our travel agency recommended us Molos Bay4* and Euphoria Resort 5* (close to Kissamos harbor) and it would have probably been wiser to choose one of these rather than a hotel in Rethimno, as we visited this part of the island more.

RO: Pentru cei care vor să fie în mijlocul insulei, pentru a avea oarecum toată insula la îndemână și la distanțe decente de condus, poate că ar fi potrivită o cazare în orașul Rethimno sau în împrejurimile sale. Distanța de la marea Cretei (în nord) până la marea Libiei (în sud) este de aproximativ 50km, deci cam o o oră de condus, ceea ce înseamnă că se poate ajunge relativ ușor la plaja faimoasă cu pădurea de palmieri (Preveli Beach) sau la plaja Matala (renumită ca fiind plaja hipioților). În Rethimno ne-au atras atenția hotelurile Sentido Pearl Beach 4* (aflat chiar pe plajă, însă cam departe de centrul orașului) și Theartemis Palace Hotel 5* (fix în centru, arată foarte bine, dar nu e pe plajă).

EN: For those who want to be in the middle of the island, to have everything more or less at hand and at decent driving distances by any attraction on the island, it would be appropriate to book a hotel in Rethimno or its surroundings. The distance from the Cretan Sea (in the north) to the Libyan Sea (in the south) is approximately 50km, so more or less one hour of driving, which means the famous beach with the palm forest (Preveli Beach) can be easily reached, as well as Matala Beach (renowned as being the hippies beach). In Rethimno we noticed two hotels, one of them was Sentido Pearl Beach 4* (right on the beach but a bit far away from the town center) and Theartemis Palace Hotel 5* (right in the center, it looks really nice, but it’s not on the beach).

RO: Pentru cei care vor mai multă distracție seara, stațiunile Malia și Hersonissos din regiunea Heraklion sunt cele mai cunoscute pentru viața de noapte. În Hersonissos am găsit hotelul Aldemar Royal Mare 5* și Hotel Abaton Island Resort & Spa 5* ( absolut demențial!) potrivite mai ales pentru cupluri și hotelul Creta Maris 5* potrivit pentru familiile cu copii. Pentru cei care vor să descopere estul mai puțin explorat, sătucele în stil venețian Agios Nikolaos sau Elounda, insula Spinalonga, insula Chryssi din sud, poate că ar fi potrivită o cazare în această zonă.

EN: For those who want a bit more fun in the evening, Malia and Hersonissos tourist resorts from Heraklion region are famous for nightlife. In Hersonissos we found Aldemar Royal Mare 5* hotel and Abaton Island Resort & Spa 5* (absolutely gorgeous!) suitable for couples and Creta Maris 5* suitable for families with children. For those who want to explore the east part of the island, which is usually less explored by tourists, the Venetian villages of Agios Nikolaos or Elounda, Spinalonga island or Chryssi island in the south, it would probably be better to book accommodation in this area.






RO: Pentru familiile cu copii, există o mulțime de hoteluri cu diverse facilități pentru copii și bebeluși, din research-ul făcut de noi ne-au atras atenția hotelul Louis Creta Princess 4* ( în stațiunea Maleme, în regiunea Chania, are inclusiv aqua park). Însă fără nicio urmă de snobism, am spune că în Creta (nu știm cum este în restul insulelor grecești) preferabil ar fi un hotel de 5 stele cu un copil mic (dacă bugetul permite, bineînțeles). Ne-a plăcut enorm de mult hotelul Pilot Beach 5* din stațiunea Georgioupolis, foarte liniștită, mai ferită de agitația turistică din orașele Rethimnon și Chania (se află fix între cele două orașe), este fix pe plajă și arată fabulos.

EN: For families with children there are o lot of hotels with different facilities for babies and children and from the research we’ve made hotel Louis Creta Princess 4* would be a very good option (in Maleme, in Chania region, it also has an aqua park). But to be completely honest and with no kind of snobbery in mind, we would say that in Crete (we don’t know about the rest of the Greek islands) it would be preferable to book a 5 stars hotel if traveling with a small baby (of course, if the budget allows). We really loved Pilot Beach 5*  hotel from Georgioupolis tourist resort, a tranquil place, a bit far away from the touristic chaos from Rethimnon and Chania (it is right between these two towns), it’s exactly on the beach and it looks fabulous.

PLAJE / BEACHES

RO: Întreaga insulă e pur și simplu înțesată de plaje frumoase și este cu siguranță IMPOSIBIL de ajuns pe toate într-o vacanță de o săptămână. Cele mai faimoase sunt și cele mai aglomerate și haotice, chiar dacă pozele de pe internet le prezintă ca fiind mereu pustii și liniștite. Balos Beach este senzațională, mai ales văzută de sus, însă în mijlocul zilei, când vin vasele cu turiști, este pur și simplu invadată de umbrele, prosoape și oameni. Elafonissi Beach (cea renumită pentru fâșia de nisip roz) la fel, atâta doar că atmosfera poate fi puțin mai plăcută decât la Balos, pentru ca aici se găsește și un pic de umbră. Trebuie să menționăm însă că social media setează niște așteptări complet nerealiste legate de această plajă. Plaja nu are nisip roz, este un nisip normal, bej-gălbui, ca pe oricare altă plajă, care însă are o fâșie rozalie (o tentă foarte pală de roz, nicidecum rozul saturat văzut în poze) fix la mal, și este datorată organismelor din corali morți sau scoici aduse din larg. Plaja e spectaculoasă, merită văzută, dar nu pentru faptul că este roz. No such thing. Preveli Beach și Vai Beach sunt cunoscute pentru pădurile de palmieri. Plaja Matala este cunoscută ca fiind plaja hipioților în trecut și arată într-adevăr spectaculos. Plaja Seitan Limani (nu atât de renumită ca celelalte și aproape deloc inclusă pe itinerariile și excursiile organizate de agențiile de turism) este fix plaja aceea perfectă pentru poze, micuță și intimă, încadrată de stânci înalte. Însă lăsând la o parte toate aceste locuri mai mult sau mai puțin renumite, sunt multe alte plaje frumoase și mai puțin (spre deloc) descoperite de turiști. Pentru cei care au mașină, merită descoperite, Creta este extrem de ofertantă când vine vorba de plaje frumoase. Am găsit un site (Cretan Beaches) unde sunt prezentate toate plajele din fiecare regiune, le marchează pe hartă în funcție de fiecare regiune și specifică facilitățile care se pot găsi la fiecare dintre acestea. Este chiar util 🙂

EN: The entire island is full of beautiful beaches and it is definitely IMPOSSIBLE to reach all of them in just one week. The most famous of them are also the most crowded and chaotic, even though the pictures seen on the internet show them as being always secluded and tranquil. Balos Beach is sensational, especially if seen from above, but in the middle of the day, when the cruises arrive on the beach, it is simply invaded by umbrellas, towels and people. The same happens for Elafonissi Beach (renowned for the pink strech of sand), just that here it can be a bit more nicer than Balos Beach as there is a bit of natural shade.We have to mention here that social media creates totally unrealistic expectations regarding this beach. The beach doesn’t have pink sand, it is a normal beige sand as any other beach, with a narrow stretch of pink (a really pale shade of pink, not the extremely saturated pink seen in the pictures) at the shore and that’s formed by the organisms fromt he dead corals and shells that are brought at the shore. The beach is spectacular, it should be seen, but not because it is pink. No such thing. Preveli and Vai Beaches are known for the palm forests. Matala Beach is known as the beach of the hippies and it really looks spectacular. Seitan Limani beach (not so known as the rest of the beaches and almost never included on the itineraries and excursions of the travel agencies) is exactly the perfect spot for pictures, tiny and intimate, framed by steep rocks. But leaving beside all these known places, there are lots of other beautiful beaches and less discovered by tourists. For those who have a rental car it is worth trying them as Crete has plenty to offer when it comes to nice beaches. We have found a webiste (Cretan Beaches) where there are listed all the beaches from each region of Crete, marking them on the map and presenting all the facilities for each one of them. It is really useful 🙂 

ITINERARIU / ITINERARY

RO: După cum spuneam la începutul articolului, cel mai indicat ar fi de ales o singură regiune sau două ale Cretei, pentru că este foarte greu de parcurs și văzut întreaga insulă într-o singură săptămână. Foarte pe scurt (pentru că vom detalia mai multe despre fiecare loc în parte într-un articol separat, acesta este deja prea lung), am strâns mai jos locurile pe care le-am găsit noi în documentarea făcută înainte de a ajunge în Creta, bineînțeles în multe dintre ele nu am ajuns (în principal pentru că nu am avut mașină), dar care ar merită incluse într-un itinerariu: Defileul Samaria (din Munții Albi), lung de 16km, este absolut superb însă nu este recomandat femeilor însărcinate și copiilor mici. Defileul Imbros, mai micuț decât Samaria, situat pe partea cealaltă a Munților Albi, are doar 8km lungime, traseul durează 3 ore și poate fi parcurs de copiii mici. Orășelul Agios Nikolaos, un oraș superb din nordul estul insulei, cu un port colorat și superb. Elounda, foarte aproape de Agios Nikolaos, considerat unul dintre cele mai frumoase sate din Creta. Insula Spinalonga sau Insula Leproșilor Europei după cum i se mai spune, orașul Heraklion, capitala (au un acvariu foarte apreciat – Cretaquarium) iar in zona se mai află și Palatul Knossos. Chania,  despre care se spune că ar fi cel mai frumos oraș cretan. Rethimnon, foarte asemănător cu Chania, însă mai liniștit și mai autentic. Plajele Elafonissi, Falassarna, Seitan Limani, Balos și insula Gramvousa (în partea de vest a insulei), plaja Preveli cu pădurea de palmieri (în sud) și plaja Vai cu palmieri (în est), sătucul pescăresc Agia Galini și plaja Matala în sud, Malia – orașul petrecăreților și al tinerilor :D, Hersonissos – cea mai faimoasă stațiune din Creta și de ce nu, insula Chryssi, cu un nisip extrem de fîn și ape de un turcoaz fantastic. Însă după cum spuneam, reveim cu un articol dedicat itinerariului, în care vom spune mai multe despre fiecare în parte 🙂

EN: As we were saying at the beginning of this article, it would be best to only choose one or two Cretan regions because it is very hard to see the entire island in only one week. We briefly gathered some of the places we found in our research about Crete (we will write another article where we will have more details about each of these places), some of them we couldn’t see (mainly due to the fact that we did not have a rental car), but all these would worth being included in an itinerary in Crete: Samaria Gorge (from the White Mountains), 16 km long, it is absolutely gorgeous but it is not recommended for pregnant women or small babies. Imbros Gorge, smaller than Samaria, on the other side of the White Mountains, it is only 8km long and the hike is 3hours and can be made with children. Agios Nikolaos – a gorgeous small town in the north east of the island, with a beautiful colorful harbor. Elounda – very close to Agios Nikolaos, considered one of the most beautiful villages in Crete. Spinalonga island or the Leper Island as it is called, Heraklion the capital with a nice aquarium (Cretaquarium) and the Knossos Palace in the surroundings. Chania, which is often called the most beautiful Cretan town. Rethimno, similar to Chania but a bit more tranquil and perhaps more authentic. The Elafonissi, Falassarna, Seitan Limani, Balos Beaches and Gramvousa Island (in the western part of the island), Preveli Beach  (in the south) and Vai Beach (in the east) both having palm forest, the fishermen village Agia Galini and Matala Beach in the south, Malia – the party town :D, Hersonissos the most famous tourist resorts in Crete and why not, Chryssi island, with an extremely fine golden-white sand and gorgeous turquoise  waters. But as we were saying, we will come back with more details about each one of these 🙂
