In plus, cafeaua e exceptionala si mancarea delicioasa.
EN: Honestly, after all this cold, rain and fog in the Faroe Islands, a seaside getaway doesn’t sound bad at all. But as we don’t have any chances to go to the seaside any time soon, we’ll remember our last month adventure, when we actually has a couple of premieres. First of all, we’ve seen the old city center of Constanta for the first time! We wanted to see it for such a long time, buuuut we always skip it as we stop for a true feast at Bacaro Port (at least we got over the obsessions with the Agigea fisheries – Pescaria lui Matei andΒ Golful Pescarilor :D). But the old city center looks really nice, renovated, full of terracesΒ and colors and here and there one can find o communist building still not modernized or an everlasting hotel that spice up the entire atmosphere of this place. We’re putting our list with beautiful hotels in Romania theΒ Belle Epoque Boutique VillaΒ on Tomis Avenue, a gorgeous place where we can’t wait to stay one day! And we’re continuing the list of premieres with a short visit at the Hangar Cafe 67 coffee shop, from Tuzla airfield, a minimalist building, nicely decorated (the chairs from the bar are former airplane chairs changed into comfortable armchairs, under the tables there are different components or even an airplane engine and the walls are full of pilot’s signatures that obtained all kind of airplane certifications at Tuzla). Not to mention the view from the terrace, directly on the airfield and the runway, absolutely gorgeous! And then, the coffee is great and the food delicious. Ah, and by the way, on 19th of August there is the Aeromania airshow, so this can be a good opportunityΒ to try the coffee. And then there’s the Corbu beach, seen for the first time π Wild and empty, tranquil and secluded – hard to believe that this place is so close to all the madness in Mamaia. Next time when we’ll be around we”ll visit the Histria Citadel as well, as this is at a stone’s throw from Corbu beach! We also have some “intruder” pictures from Vama Veche, which we already known very well, but we always come back here π Β
