RO: Înainte de a începe propriu zis articolul acesta, am vrea să facem o scurtă precizare (încercăm cel puțin să fie cât mai scurtă) că Nayino este locul unde am plecat pentru prima oară după nașterea lui Alexei. La doar șase săptămâni după operație, când încă eram zăpăciți de nesomn, de stres, de panicile normale pe care le are orice părinte când i se naște primul copil, am avut un moment în care amândoi am picat emoțional. Efectiv ne-a copleșit rutina aceea zilnică, faptul că nu știam când e zi, când e noapte, când trebuie să mâncăm sau când trebuie să dormim. Eram plânși, obosiți, deznădăjduiți. Da, acesta este cuvântul potrivit. Deznădăjduiți. Simțeam că nu se termină ciclul acesta de nopți nedormite și cumva… am reușit să ne sincronizăm și să avem amândoi în același timp căderea nervoasă. Încă nu ne revenisem din șocul primelor zile și săptămâni și încă ne era foarte greu să ne acomodăm cu noul ritm de viață și mai ales cu faptul că nu puteam călători. Deloc. Așa că ne-am luat inima în dinți și am plecat pentru prima oară la mare. De parcă am fi străbătut jumătate de glob pământesc, exact așa s-a simțit această primă călătorie cu Alexei. Am avut emoții, am avut temeri, însă a fost o adevărată eliberare, pe care ne e foarte greu să o descriem în cuvinte. A fost un weekend perfect, chiar dacă nu am dormit noaptea și chiar dacă aveam aceleași atribuții bebelusesti ca și acasă. A fost un weekend de evadare, în care a părut că viața noastră de după nașterea lui Alexei este exact așa cum ne-o imaginam noi, în naivitatea noastră încărcată de prea multă perfecțiune din social media: la fel, dar cu un bebeluș pe brațe. Astfel că pornim articolul despre Nayino având această încărcătură emoțională și această primă experiență la ei care pur și simplu ne-a rămas în amintire ca fiind… perfectă.

EN: Before actually starting to write this article, we would like to make a short parenthesis (we will definitely try to make it short) and we will say that Nayinois the first place we’ve been to after Alexei’s birth. At just six weeks after the c-section, when we were still confused due to the lack of sleep, the stress, the normal panics that every new parent has when his first child is born, we both had a nervous breakdown. Somehow the daily routine overwhelmed us, we simply didn’t know if it was day or night, if we were hungry or if we were just dead tired. We cried a lot, we were feeling exhausted and hopeless. Yup, that’s the proper word. Hopeless. It was like a never ending cycle of sleepless nights and somehow… we managed to synchronize and have this nervous breakdown at the same time. We were still not recovered from the shock of the first days and weeks and it was still hard for us to adjust to the new rhythm of life and especially with the fact that we couldn’t travel. At all. So we summoned up our strengths and went to the seaside for the first time. And this first trip of our with baby Alexei seemed as if we would have traveled half the world. We were anxious, we were scared, but it was a real liberation that is hard to describe in words. It was a perfect weekend, even though we couldn’t sleep during the night and we had the same “tasks” as we had at home. But it was an escape and our lives after Alexei’s birth seemed to be exactly as we thought they will be (in our naivety filled with too much social perfection): the same, but with a baby in our arms. So we start writing about Nayino being emotionally charged with this experience that for us was just… perfect.

RO: De atunci, am mai fost de trei ori la Nayino, în mai puțin de un an și în continuare este un loc pe care îl recomandăm cu dragă inimă oricărui cuplu cu copii mici, chiar bebeluși. Pentru că în final, acesta este publicul lor țintă (familiile cu copii mici) și în direcția această își focuseaza absolut orice îmbunătățire în cadrul hotelului. Și ca să nu existe niciun fel de neclaritate, reclamă mascată sau neadevăr, vom începe cu singurul lucru care nu este pe măsura așteptărilor multor oameni, și anume zona înconjurătoare hotelului. Începem cu acest lucru, deși firesc ar fi fost să vorbim întâi despre toate lucrurile bune pe care le are de oferit acest hotel, însă pentru că am primit suficient de multe mesaje în social media prin care ni se reproșa faptul că promovăm un hotel cu astfel de împrejurimi, am vrea să clarificăm încă de la bun început acest aspect. Da, este adevărat, în jurul hotelului Nayino sunt construcții și un drum complet neasfaltat. Poate că drumul până la plajă (de cinci minute pe jos) este o provocare pentru cei cu cărucior și un motiv de stres și enervare. Recunoaștem, we’ve been there, am simțit același lucru. Însă aceasta este situația în întreaga stațiune/sat/orășel (indiferent cum ne dorim să îl numim) Năvodari. Până anul trecut nu mai fusesem de foarte mulți ani la mare în România și da, credeam că Năvodari este sătucul acela de la nord de Mamaia, liniștit, cu plaje pustii și două-trei pensiuni răzlețe pe plajă. Ei bine nu, Năvodari este un loc în care se construiește mult, haotic, fără noimă. Este praf, sunt construcții multe, este mizerie. Este o situație generală a orașului și niciunul hotel nu poate fi tras la răspundere pentru haosul din construcții. Da, nu există plan urbanistic (sau dacă există, nu contează, pentru că se construiește fără niciun fel de regulă), nu există bun gust, nu există logică în toate aceste construcții. Însă nu poate fi Nayino răspunzător pentru împrejurimile acestea, mai ales în condițiile în care proprietarii acestui hotel chiar își doresc să fie diferiți și să le ofere oaspeților lor o experiență cât mai plăcută. Tocmai pentru că vrem ca acest articol să seteze așteptările corecte celor care aleg să vină la Nayino, am început cu acest aspect negativ, deși ca să fim sinceri, ținând cont de tot ce are de oferit acest hotel, cât este de diferit de orice alte locații de pe litoralul românesc și de cât de multă muncă a implicat acest proiect, Nayino nu merită o astfel de introducere.

EN: Since then, we’ve been three times at Nayino in less than one year and we still love this place and recommend it to any couple with small babies and children. Because in the end, this is their target (families with small babies) and their direction in terms of improvements of the hotel. And just because we want to avoid any unclearness, hidden publicity or untruth, we will start with the only thing that doesn’t seem right for many people that have visited Nayino and that the surrounding area of the hotel. We will start talking about this aspect, even though it would have been normal to start with the good things this hotel has to offer, but due to the fact that we received quite a lot of messages on our social media accounts in which some people criticized us because we promote a hotel with such surroundings, we would like to clarify this in the first place. Yes, it is true, around Nayino hotel there are lots of constructions and a dirt road. Walking to the beach (5 minutes walk) can be a real challenge with a baby stroller and it is definitely a reason to stress and fuss about. We admit it, we’ve been there, we felt the same thing. But this is a general situation in Navodari village/town/tourist resort (whatever we choose to call it). Until last year, we haven’t been to the seaside in Romania for quite a while and honestly, we thought that Navodari was that chill village north of Mamaia, a tranquil place, with secluded beaches and a couple of houses close to the beach. Well, nope, Navodari is a place where there are literally tons of chaotic, pointless constructions. There is dust, there are building yards, there is misery. This is a general situation of this town and no hotel can be held responsible for the chaos from constructions. Yes, there is no urban planning (or if there is, it doesn’t really matter, as no rule is followed), there is a total lack of taste and logic in all these constructions. But this is not Nayino’s fault, especially when we know that the owners really want to be different and to make their guests feel as comfortable as possible. But because we want this article to set the proper expectations for those that choose to come here, to spend some time at Nayino, we have started with this negative aspect, although to be completely honest, considering everything this hotel has to offer and the fact that it is so different than anything else that we have seen on the Romanian coast, it really doesn’t deserve such an introduction. 








RO: Pentru că până la urmă, la Nayino este vorba despre povestea care a conturat acest proiect, despre ideea frumoasă a unei familii care și-a dorit să dezvolte un proiect personal, despre implicarea și devotamentul unei tinere arhitecte. Ne-a plăcut Nayino și înainte de a știi istoria locului, însă de când am cunoscut-o pe Serin Geambazu, cea care a creat întregul concept de incintă și a propus ideea de spațiu împărțit, asemănător culturii islamice, am îndrăgit hotelul acesta și mai mult. Și dacă ar fi să spunem care ni se par nouă cele mai importante atuuri ale acestui hotel, am spune că în mod cert grădina, curtea interioară, cu piscina, cu restaurantul, cu spațiile de relaxare. Pur și simplu simțim că este un spațiu intim, în care nu putem fi deranjați, un spațiu în care ne simțim bine, ne simțim…. acasă. Și da, oricât de ciudat ar suna, au fost weekenduri când veneam la Nayino doar pentru a sta aici, în această curte interioară. În care pur și simplu nu am făcut nimic, nu am plecat din hotel decât pentru o scurtă vizită pe plajă, seara, la apus. Și asta pentru că de foarte multă vreme nu mai avem nevoie de agitația și nebunia specifică stațiunilor la mare în plin sezon, ba dimpotrivă chiar, ne ferim de ele pe cât posibil. Suntem pur și simplu în punctul în care avem nevoie de locuri în care să ne deconectăm, să ne simțim bine și să ne bucurăm de tot ce are acel loc de oferit. Și avem două locuri în România care ne sunt așa de dragi: unul este la munte (Hadar Chalet) iar al doilea la mare, la Nayino.

EN: Because in the end, at Nayino is all about the story behind this project, about the nice idea of a family that wanted to create something personal, about the devotion of a young and talented architect. We loved Nayino from the very first moment, but we love it even more since we met Serin Geambazu, the one that created the entire courtyard concept and suggested the shared space idea that is often found in the Islamic culture. And if we were to say what are the best feature of this hotel for us, we would definitely say the garden, the interior courtyard, with the pool, the restaurant, all the relaxation spaces. We just feel that this is an intimate space, where we can’t be disturbed, a place where we feel good, we feel… at home. And yup, as odd as it might sound, there have been weekends when we were going to Nayino just to stay there, in the courtyard. Just doing absolutely nothing, not leaving the hotel (or maybe just for a short visit to the beach, at sunset). And that’s because for a long, long time we no longer need the chaos and the typical madness of the tourist resorts in full season, actually on the contrary, we avoid them as much as possible. We’re at the stage in life where we need places to disconnect, to feel good and to enjoy everything that place has to offer. And we have two places in Romania that we love: one is at the mountains (Hadar Chalet) and the other one at the seaside, at Nayino.










RO: Apoi, interiorul camerelor, simplu dar chic. Am încercat aproape toate tipurile de camere de la Nayino, până când am decis că cele din bungalowurile de la piscină sunt preferatele noastre. Și asta pentru că au priveliște către întreaga incintă, către piscina și către terasa restaurantului, care pe timpul serii este luminată cu ghirlande de becuri. Și în general, seara pare mai vie atmosfera, fără să fie deranjantă sau gălăgioasă. Am prins de multe ori evenimente la Nayino, însă niciodată nu a fost ceva invaziv sau care să compromită ideea de relaxare și liniște. Moto-ul celor de la Nayino este “Sublime Your Time” și cumva e lesne de înțeles de ce. Investesc timp în oaspeții lor și vor ca aceștia să se întoarcă, să devină clienți fideli, care preferă Nayino înainte de orice alt hotel din zonă. Astfel că lucrează în direcția aceasta și sincer să fim… le reușește de minune. Nu suntem singurii care s-au întors de atât de multe ori într-un timp atât de scurt, ba chiar mulți dintre prietenii noștri cu copii mici vin în mod frecvent aici. Pentru oaza de liniște, pentru designul frumos și pentru deconectare.

EN: And then the rooms, simple but chic. We tried almost all the room types at Nayino until we finally decided that our favorites are the bungalows close to the pool. And that’s because they have a gorgeous view towards the entire courtyard, the pool  and the restaurant’s terrace, which is nicely lit by light garlands. And in general, in the evenings the atmosphere at Nayino is a bit more lively, without being loud or disturbing. We often seen events organized art Nayino but none of them was invasive in any way. Nayino’s motto is “Sublime Your Time” and somehow is easy to understand why. They invest time in their guests and they want them to come back, to become loyal customers, that prefer Nayino before any other hotel from this area. So they work precisely in this direction and honestly… they are doing a great job. We’re not the only ones who came back many times in such a short period of time, actually most of our friends with small babies come here frequently. For the oasis of tranquility, for the nice design and for disconnection.  




RO: Și ca să fim sinceri, Nayino și-a ales extrem de bine publicul țintă. Sunt foarte puține hoteluri în România axate pe familiile cu copii mici și facilități pentru aceștia. Și nu ne referim la un simplu pătuț sau o jucărică în piscină. Ci în primul la disponibilitatea personalului pentru a ajuta o familie cu un copil mic. Începând cu mâncarea pentru bebeluși (întotdeauna când am avut o cerință specială pentru Alexei au fost mai mult decât deschiși să ne ajute), până la diversele facilități din cadrul hotelului: o terasă suspendată cu un spațiu larg unde se pot juca liniștiți piticii (mergând de-a bușilea, de ce nu?), o piscinuca specială pentru ei (care nu e doar un colțisor minuscul în care încap doi copii, cum am întâlnit prin alte părți), spații cu umbră, loc de joacă, balansoare. Și mai presus decât toate acestea, liniștea și sentimentul de spațiu intim, în care te poți bucura de un weekend liniștit la mare, fără haosul specific din plin sezon.

EN: And to be honest, has wisely chosen its target. There are few hotels in Romania that are focused on families with small children or babies and facilities for them. And we are not referring to a simple crib or a toy in the pool. We are mainly considering the staff’s availability to help a family with a small baby. Starting with the baby food (everytime we had a special request for Alexei they have been more than happy to help us), until all the different facilities that we can find within the hotel: an elevated terrace with large space where the little ones can play (while crawling, why not?), o pool for babies (which is not only a tiny corner in the pool, where only a couple of babies can actually fit in – as we have seen in other places), spaces with shade, a playground, swingers. And above all these, the tranquility and that feeling of intimacy, where people can enjoy a chill weekend at the seaside, without the so typical chaos during full season.





RO: În plus, au periodic oferte în timpul săptămânii (în general duminică-miercuri) cu prețuri avantajoase pentru mămici. Chiar vorbeam cu Serin despre acest tip de oferte, prin care Nayino își dorește să atragă cât mai multe familii în timpul săptămânii, în principal mămici care se află în concediul de maternitate și care în mod normal poate că ar petrece întreagă săptămână acasă. Astfel că pe perioada verii există aceste oferte de duminică până miercuri (se exclud weekendurile din ofertă) la prețuri mult mai bune decât în weekend. Și chiar sunt tentante, mai ales pentru mămicile cu bebeluși mici, mai puțin demanding 🙂 De altfel, au mai mereu oferte sau pachete promoționale, pe care le afișează și actualizează în mod constant pe site.

EN: Besides, they have constant offers during the week (in general from Sunday to Wednesday) with really good prices for mommies. I was actually talking to Serin about this type of offers, through which Nayino wants to attract more families during weekdays, especially for mothers that are still in maternity leave and that would probably spend the entire week at home. So during summer time there are these offers from Sunday to Wednesday (weekends are excluded from the offer) at really good prices compared to weekends. And they are indeed tempting, especially for mothers with small babies which are less demanding 🙂 Actually, they always have offers or promotions, which they constantly update on their website.


RO: Nayino înseamnă IUBIRE în limba turcă. Și pare să fie cel mai firesc nume pentru acest hotel, fiind o afacere de familie și un proiect conturat din pasiune. Pasiunea pentru design a unei tinere arhitecte care și-a dorit să facă un hotel mai atipic litoralului românesc. Cu un interior mai deosebit, în care oaspeții să se simtă foarte bine, cu un concept interesant de incintă, cu mare parte din camere având vedere către această curte interioară, cu o piscină mare și multe facilități pentru familiile cu copii mici. Tot menționăm familii cu copii mici pentru că într-adevăr este o locație preferată de cuplurile tinere cu bebeluși sau copii de câțiva anișori, deci în general este o atmosferă liniștită, iar în tot peisajul acesta bebelusesc am văzut de foarte multe ori și cupluri fără copii, care se simțeau la fel de bine. De când îl avem pe Alexei am înțeles că cele două tabere (ale bebelușilor și ale cuplurilor fără copii) nu se exclud. Există loc pentru ambele la Nayino 🙂 Și-apoi, hotelul are un aer proaspăt și cool, de care e nevoie în stațiunile românești de la mare. Au evenimente simpatice, precum Festivalul Clătitelor la mic dejun sau brunch-ul în piscina fără apă, clase de yoga pe terasă sau degustări de vinuri. Nouă ne place enorm de mult aici, și ori de câte ori venim la mare, preferăm să stăm la Nayino, unde avem tot ce ne trebuie pentru un weekend relaxant cu Alexei.

EN: Nayino means LOVE in Turkish. And it really seems to be the best name for this hotel, being a family run business which has been created with so much passion. The passion for design of a young architect who wanted to create a different hotel than what we usually find on the Romanian sea shore. With a nice interior, where the guests can feel good, with a nice courtyard concept, with most of the rooms having view towards this courtyard, with a big pool and lots of facilities for families with babies. We keep talking about families with small babies because indeed this is a location preferred by young couples with children and in general it is a relaxed atmosphere where couples without babies can also feel good. Since we have Alexei we finally understood that babies and couples can co-exist in the same hotel without a problem 🙂 There’s plenty of space for everyone at Nayino 🙂 And just one more thing, the hotel has a really fresh and cool vibe, with lots of cute events like the Pancakes Festival for breakfast, brunch in the empty pool, yoga classes on the terrace or wine tastings. We love staying here and every time we come to the seaside, we prefer spending a weekend of relaxation with Alexei here, at Nayino.
