RO: Adevarul e ca de fiecare data cand alegem sa mergem intr-o destinatie complet diferita cultural de tara noastra, avem o placere nebuna sa aducem cumva Romania in prim plan 🙂 Practic pe acest principiu am si lansat proiectul #designeriromaniprinlume, prin care ne dorim sa promovam valorile romanesti in toate plecarile noastre. Iar inainte de Sri Lanka am descoperit-o pe Nicoleta Obis si toate creatiile ei fabuloase, atat de tipic romanesti, cu taieturi si croieli minimaliste, dar cu influente traditionale din nordul tarii. Si cand stii ca produsul cumparat e facut in serie limitata si mai sunt doar vreo cateva altele la fel in toata tara, ti-e mai mare dragul sa il porti! Asa ca anul acesta, impreuna cu alti 12 prieteni, am serbat ziua Romaniei pe meleaguri sri lankeze, purtand designeri romani si creatii inspirate din folclorul romanesc 🙂 Pe Nicoleta o gasiti pe site-ul oficial, pe Facebook si pe Instagram 🙂

EN: The truth is that whenever we chose to go to a destination that is completely different from our country’s culture, we’re longing to bring Romania in the foreground 🙂 Basically this was the reason why we started the project #designeriromaniprinlume (Romanian Designers Around the World), through which we endeavor to promote the Romanian values in our travels. And before our trip to Sri Lanka we discovered Nicoleta Obis and all her fabulous creation, so typically Romanian, with minimal cuts but traditional influences from the northern part of the country. And when you know that the product you buy is a limited edition and there are only few others in all the country, you definitely feel proud to wear it!
