RO: Cred că cel mai dificil task pentru o persoană care nu are copii este să cumpere un cadou pentru un bebeluș sau copil mic (pentru copiii mai mari parcă se mai simplifică lucrurile, o jucărie interesantă rareori poate da greș). Însă pentru cei mici este întotdeauna o provocare să găsești ceva potrivit, care să fie de folos. Iar în articolul acesta voi încerca să mă focusez în mare parte pe jucării sau lucruri care le-ar atrage atenția micuților (cum ar fi obiectele de mâncat, băut apă, învățat, activități și diverse altele), însă bineînțeles, un cadou extrem de apreciat de către părinți vor rămâne întotdeauna hainele de calitate. De fiecare dată când mă întreabă cineva ce ar putea cumpăra cadou unui copil mic încep prin a recomanda haine de calitate, în mod deosebit haine de lână pentru sezonul rece (da, un părinte se va bucura întotdeauna să primească o haină groasă de lână pentru cel mic, chiar dacă o primește în toiul verii :D). Cât sunt foarte mici cresc extrem de repede iar hainele le rămân mici de la lună la lună, așa că dacă părinții preferă lucrurile de lână, cașmir, mătase, bumbac organic sau alte materiale naturale, ei bine, acestea ar fi o adevărată mană cerească dacă ar fi primite cadou. Singurul lucru care ar trebui verificat cu părinții înainte de a face orice achiziție costisitoare in materie de haine este măsura exactă a copilului (și eventual luat hainele o măsură mai mare decât măsura actuală). Există o mulțime de magazine online de unde pot fi cumpărate haine de lână (hiphip.ro, littlebandit.ro, scutecila.ro, pufushop.ro, gălbenuș.ro și altele) și inclusiv magazinele de lanț au deseori haine de lână foarte calitative. Ca branduri foarte renumite de lână (pe care mămicile le adoră în general :D) sunt ManyMonths, Disana, Cosilana, Mikkline, Engel, Dilling și altele.

EN: I think the hardest task for a person that doesn’t have children yet is to buy a present for a baby or a small child (for older children things are a bit easier, an interesting toy can never go wrong). But for the little ones it is always a challenge to find something that’s appropriate for their age. And in this article I will try to mainly focus on toys and things that would be interesting for them (as objects needed for meals, different cups for drinking water, objects that help them learn or make all sort of activities), but of course, a present that will always be appreciated by a parent will always be quality clothing. Each time a person asks me what should he/she buy for a small child I always begin recommending quality clothing, especially wool clothes for cold season (yup, a parent will be happy to receive a warm wool cloth for the little one, even in the middle of summer :D). When they are small, children grow extremely fast and clothes are getting small from month to month, so if the parents appreciate wool, cashmere, silk, organic cotton or other natural fabrics, oh well, this will be a real godsend to be received as presents. The only thing that needs to be checked with the parents, before buying doing a costly aquisition in terms of clothing is the exact size of the baby (and maybe buy one size bigger than the actual size). There are a lot of online stores where wool clothing can be bought (hiphip.ro, littlebandit.ro, scutecila.ro, pufushop.ro, gălbenuș.ro and others) and even chain stores often have wool clothes. As for the  wool brands which mothers usually adore :D, the most renowned are Manymonths, Disana, Cosilana, Mikkline, Engel, Dilling and others.

RO: Însă trecând peste introducerea aceasta legată de hainele de lână, începem lista de idei de cadouri pentru cei mici 🙂 Le-am împărțit pe categorii de vârstă pentru a fi mai ușor de urmărit și ales. Scopul acestui articol nu este de a face reclamă anumitor produse sau magazine, ci pur și simplu de a pune la un loc mai multe idei de cadouri, din locuri și magazine cât mai variate, ca să avem laolaltă cât mai multe opțiuni. Pentru că nu este nimic mai neplăcut decât disperarea aceea de dinainte de Crăciun, când ai cumpăra absolut orice, indiferent de preț sau utilitate, doar să fie un cadou de Crăciun sub brad.

EN: But besides this long introduction about wool clothing, we’re now starting the list of ideas of presents for our little ones 🙂 We divided them into age categories so that it will be easier to follow. The purpose of this article is not to promote certain products or stores, but to gather ideas of presents, from all kind of places and stores, just to have more ideas in the same place. Because there’s nothing more stressful than being desperate before Christmas and buying anything, no matter the price or utility, just to have a gift underneath the Christmas tree.  

BEBELUŞI 0-3 LUNI / 0-3 MONTHS BABIES

RO: Dragii de ei până la vârsta de două luni nu își descoperă nici mânuțele încă, așa că jucăriile pentru această vârstă nu sunt deloc necesare. Nu prezintă interes, nu se joacă cu ele (sau dacă o fac, o fac mai mult instinctiv) și vor în mare parte să stea în brațele mamei, nu să se joace. După două luni însă, lucrurile devin mai interesante și jucăriile potrivite vârstei îi pot ajuta pe bebeluși să învețe și să descopere. Încep să fie fascinați de lumea înconjurătoare și tot ce este nou trebuie apucat, pipăit, simțit, de ce nu, gustat 😀 Așa că jucăriile trebuie să fie special alese, să fie moi (ca să nu se lovească cu ele), să fie din materiale naturale și să nu aibă vopseluri toxice (pentru că invariabil vor ajunge în gură) și să fie ușoare (la fel, ca să nu se accidenteze cu ele). Lista de cadouri/jucării pentru un bebeluș atât de mic este destul de redusă, pentru că momentan nu sunt încă foarte interesați de jucării:

EN: At two months old our cutie pies haven’t discovered their hands yet, so they don’t actually need any toy at this age. They don’t seem to be interested in toys, they don’t play with them (or if they do, they do it in an instinctive way) and they prefer the arms of the mother, not toys. But after two months, things are getting a bit more interesting and toys that are appropriate for their age can help the babies to learn and discover. They start to be fascinated by the surrounding world and everything that’s new needs to be grabbed, touched, felt, or why not, tasted 😀 So toys need to be carefully chosen, they should be soft (so that they won’t hurt themselves), should be made from natural fabrics and shouldn’t have toxic paintings (as inevitably they will get into the mouth of the baby) and the light (as well, to avoid any accident). The list of presents/toys for such a young baby is not that big, because for the moment there’s not much interest in toys. 

Jucării de atașament / Attachment toys
RO: Sinceri să fim, noi nu am crezut niciodată în mitul jucăriilor de atașament. Nici acum, la 18 luni, Alexei nu are o jucărie sau o păturică de care să fie atașat emoțional, însă poate o fi o idee bună de cadou. Copiii sunt diferiți și au preferințe diferite, ceea ce pe Alexei nu îl tentează deloc poate să fie jucăria preferată unui alt copil. Așa că trecem jucăriile de atașament pe listă, mai ales pentru că sunt extrem de drăguțe și potrivite pentru a fi oferite cadou. Cele mai simpatice pe care le-am găsit sunt cele de la Adinish (pot fi găsite aici) din bumbac, design simplu, fără briz-brizuri, o combinație drăguță de păturică și jucărie.

EN: To be honest, we never actually believed in the attachment toys myth. Even now, at 18 months, Alexei still doesn’t have an attachment toy or a blanket that he’s emotionally attached to, but it can be a good idea for present. Children are different and they have different preferences, and what doesn’t seem tempted for Alexei it can be the favourite toy for another child. So we’re adding attachment toys on the list, because they are extremely cute and suitable for presents. The cutest ones we found are at Adinish store (they can be found here) from cotton, with a simple design, without accessories, a cute mix of blanket and toy.

Jucării muzicale / Musical Toys
RO: Se știe că muzica poate stimula în mod pozitiv un bebeluș, așa că orice jucărie care îi poate face somnul mai lin sau care îi atrage atenția poate fi benefică și folositoare. Sunt foarte multe variante de astfel de jucării, însă cele care îmi plac mie în mod deosebit sunt cele de la Little Dutch (cromatica jucăriilor de la ei mi se pare extrem de frumoasă și potrivită pentru cei mici). Am găsit steluța aceasta muzicală frumoasă la magazinul Câte-n Lună Și-n Stele (link aici).

EN: It is known that music can stimulate a baby in a positive way so any toy that can make him sleep better or that can keep him busy can be beneficial and useful. There are plenty of such toys but those that I like most are the ones from Little Dutch (the colors are extremely beautiful and suitable for our little ones). We found this musical star at Câte-n Lună Și-n Stele store (link here).

Carusel pentru pătuț / Bed Mobile
RO: Ca să fim sinceri, nu am fost niciodată fani caruseluri de pătuț. Sunt într-adevăr extrem de frumoase și arată bestial în poze însă părerile sunt destul de împărțite în ceea ce le privește. Unii spun că ar stimula excesiv un bebeluș, alții spun că ar da tulburări de somn copiilor pentru că nu ar crea asocierea corectă (și anume că patul este pentru somn și nu pentru joacă). În fine, chiar dacă noi nu am avut un astfel de carusel pentru pătuț, am găsit unele care sunt extrem de drăguțe, în culori pale, fără muzică și zorzoane (deci fără stimuli excesivi) la adinish.com (link aici). Pot fi o idee foarte drăguță de cadou.

EN: To be honest, we’ve never been bed mobile’s fans. They are indeed extremely beautiful and look great in pictures but there are different opinions about them. Some say that they can over stimulate a baby, others say that they could cause sleep disorders because they don’t create the correct association (meaning that the bed is for sleeping not for playing). Anyways, even though we didn’t have a bed mobile, we found some really cute ones, in pastel colors, without music or excessive decoratons (so no over stimulation) at adinish.com (link here). They can definitely be a good idea for present.

Jucării alb-negru / Black and white toys
RO: Până în jurul vârstei de două luni, bebelușii nu pot distinge culorile, văd lumea în alb și negru și asta pentru că retina lor poate detecta doar diferențele și contrastul mare între întuneric și lumină. Jucăriile alb-negru (sau în culori foarte contrastante) îi ajută să își dezvolte vederea și îi stimulează vizual, în schimb ce jucăriile multicolore sunt potrivite pentru când mai cresc puțin. Cât sunt atât de mici, întreaga lume înconjurătoare este în ceață pentru bebeluși. Văd doar umbre, doar tonuri de gri, detectează doar obiectele foarte contrastante sau foarte luminoase. Stimulându-i vizual îi ajutăm să își dezvolte mai bine vederea, lucrul acesta fiind foarte important și pentru dezvoltarea creierului. Noi nu am cumpărat foarte multe jucării alb-negru, am folosit de multe ori pur și simplu niște foi A4 printate cu diverse imprimeuri alb-negru, însă există foarte multe variante de astfel de jucării. Foarte interesante sunt cărticelele din seria Sierra Madre, potrivite pentru bebeluși între zero și șase luni. Sunt niște cărți cu imagini simple, foarte contrastante (alb-negru) care se găsesc pe site-ul casutacujucarii.ro (link aici, aici si aici pentru trei astfel de cărticele).

EN: Up until two months of age, babies cannot see colors, they see the world in black and white,and that’s because their retina can only detect the differences and the high contrast between light and darkness. Black and white toys (or high contrasting colors toys) help  them develop their sight and stimulates them visially, while the colorful toys are more suitable for when they grow a bit. But while they are so young, the entire surrounding world is foggy. They can only see shades or greys, they can only detect highly contrasting or bright objects. While stimulating them visualy, we help them develop their sights and this is very important for the development of the brain as well. We didn’t buy many black and white toys, we simply used some A4 paper printed with all kind of black and white patterns, but there are lots of options when it comes to this kind of toys. Sierra Madre book collection is very interesting and they are all suitable for babies between zero and six months. These are simple books with simple images, highly contrasting (black and white) which can be found on casutacujucarii.ro website (link here, here and here for three such books).

RO: Numele bebelusului tricotat/ Knitted name of the baby
RO: Nu este neapărat un cadou pentru cel mic, însă poate fi drăguț pentru decorul camerei copilului. Sau dacă bebelușul nu are camera lui (cum a fost cazul nostru) poate fi pus deasupra pătuțului în care (nu) doarme :D. Am găsit cuvintele tricotate aici, le avem și noi pentru Alexei.

EN: This is not necessary a present for the baby, but it can be cute for decorating the baby’s room. And if the baby doesn’t have his own room (as in our case) it can be added on top of the baby crib where he (doesn’t :D) sleep. We found the knitted words here, we also have them for Alexei.

BEBELUŞI 3-6 LUNI / 3-6 MONTHS BABIES

RO: La vârsta această, puii micuți încep să își descopere mâinile și să fie interesați să atingă, să simtă, să descopere. Nu își mai țin degețelele strânse în pumni și tot ce poate fi apucat devine din ce în ce mai interesant. Pot dintinge culorile din ce în ce mai bine, devin interesați de orice mișcare iar lista de variante de jucării care să îi stimuleze într-un mod pozitiv devine din ce în ce mai lungă. Însă chiar dacă devin mai prezenți și mai conștienți de ceea ce îi înconjoară, în continuare “jucăria” preferată rămâne mama 🙂 Sau orice altă persoană dragă bebelușului. Fiind încă atât de mici, vor preferă în continuare un cântecel cântat cu drag sau un zâmbet sincer unei jucării, oricât de interesantă ar fi aceasta. Însă nu vor ezita să dea un picioruș caruselului atârnat deasupra patului, doar ca să vadă ce sunete și reacții produce.

EN: At this age, our little ones start to discover their hands and they are interested in touching, feeling, discovering. They no longer hold their fingers in the fist and anything that can be grabbed is more and more interesting. They can see colors better and better, they are interested in any kind of movements and the list of options for toys that stimulate them in a pozitivie way becomes longer and longer. But even though they become more present and aware of the surroundings, their favourite “toy” is still the mother 🙂 Or any other person that the baby loves. Being so small, they will still prefer listening a cute lullaby or an honest smile rather than a toy, no matter how interesting this could be. But they will also like hitting the bed mobile just to see what sounds and reactions can produce. 

Girafa Sophie / Sophie Giraffe
RO: Jucăria aceasta este o nebunie curată pentru bebeluși. S-a creat o adevărată isterie în jurul acestei jucării și recunoaștem, ne-a fost de mare folos. Este făcută din cauciuc natural, vopsită cu vopsea non toxică, specială pentru bebeluși, este extrem de flexibilă iar bebelușii o pot ronțăi în voie. Și mai și chițăie 🙂 Credem sincer că este un cadou ideal pentru un bebe mic, cu siguranță va fi folosită și apreciată. Am găsit modelul clasic pe http://www.girafasophie.ro (link aici), însă există foarte multe jucării și seturi cu faimoasa girafă.

EN: This toy is a total madness for babies. Everyone is crazy about Sophie and we have to admit it, it was really helpful for us. It is made of natural rubber, painted with non toxic paintings, specially made for babies, it is extremely flexible and babies can chew it without problems. And it even squeaks! We truly believe this is an ideal present for a small baby, for sure it will be appreciated and used. We found the classic model on http://www.girafasophie.ro website (link here) but there are also other sets and other toys with the famous giraffe.

Brațară de cauciuc natural / Natural rubber bracelet
RO: Chiar dacă celor mai mulți bebeluși le apar dinții după această vârstă, pot fi interesați de astfel de jucării pentru că au o textură plăcută și pot fi băgate în gură. Sunt foarte multe jucării de dentiție pe piață însă cele care ne-au atras atenția sunt cele de la Adinish, pentru că sunt foarte baby friendly, nu au supapă și nu adună mizerie și bacterii (link aici).

EN: Teeth eruptions appear after the age of six months for most of the babies, but they can be interested in such toys already because they have a pleasant texture and can be easily chewed. There are plenty of teething toys on the market but the ones that caught our attention are the ones from Adinish, because they are very baby friendly, they don’t have a vent hole and do not gather dirt and bacteria (link here).

RO: Cărticele moi, senzoriale / Soft sensorial books
Mi s-au părut întotdeauna greu de găsit cărticelele acestea, însă sunt câteva la Bebe Tei (spre exemplu aici), pe siteul girafei Sophie (aici) sau în diverse magazine fizice (în Mothercare am găsit o gamă destul de variată). Cele de la Bebe Tei sunt însă mai practice, având și suport pentru a fi atașate de cărucior, mânerul scoicii de mașină sau pătuț. Am găsit o astfel de cărticică senzorială și la adinish.com, simplă, din textil, cu diverse aplicații pentru ca bebe să poată simți cât mai multe texturi de materiale (link aici).

EN: For me it was always hard to find this type of books, but there are several ones at Bebe Tei (for instance here), on the official Sophie Giraffe website (here) or in different stores (Mothercare has plenty of them). Those from Bebe Tei are a bit more practical because they also have a handle so that they can be attached to the stroller, the car seat or the crib. We found such a sensorial book at adinish.com, simple, from textile, with different applications so that the baby can feel as many textures as possible (link here). 

RO: Centru de activități / Activities Center
RO: Sunt atât de multe pe piață, că este aproape imposibil să faci o alegere. Sună foarte pompos centru de “activități”, însă pentru cei care nu știu despre ce e vorba, nu este ceea ce pare 🙂 E vorba de o bară cu diverse obiecte atârnate pentru bebeluși, și o salteluță pe care aceștia să poată sta pentru a observa, atinge sau asculta obiectele. Pentru o vârstă atât de mică, important este ca centrul de activități să fie cât mai simplu, cu cât mai puțini stimuli. Fără culori prea multe și fără jucării sau zdrăngăneli excesive. Scopul unui astfel de centru de activități este să îi ajute pe bebeluși în dezvoltarea psihomotorie și coordonarea vizuală-motorie. Cel de la Little Dutch (găsit la catenlunasinstele.ro aici) pare să fie o alegere bună, culorile lor sunt foarte blânde, este din lemn iar vopselurile sunt naturale.

EN: There are so many on the market, that it is almost impossible to make a choice. Center of “activities” might sound a bit too much, but for those who don’t know what is all about, it’s not quite what is seems 🙂 It is just a bar with some objects attached and a cushion for the baby so that they can sit there and observ, touch or listen the objects. For such a young age, it is important to choose a center of activities that is simple and does not over stimulate the baby. Not too many colors, not too many toys, not too many jingles. The purpose of such an acitvity center is to help the babies in their psychomotor development and their visual motor coordination. The one from Little Dutch (which can be found at catenlunasinstele.ro here) seems to be a good option, the colors are soft, it is made of wood and the paintings are natural.
RO: Nu au însă salteluță inclusă, însă am găsit la Adinish un centru de activități (link aici) cu o salteluță care pare foarte confortabilă pentru puiuți.

EN: They don’t have the cushion included, but we found at Adinish an activity center (link here) with a cushion that seems to be so comfortable for the little ones.

Jucărie spiralată pentru cărucior sau pătuț / Spiral Toy for stroller or crib
RO: Pe măsură ce cresc, bebelușii încep să fie tentați să atingă obiectele pe care le văd, nu doar să le observe. Așa că o jucărie spiralată, atârnată fie de cărucior, de mânerul scoicii auto sau de pătuț îl poate tenta să atingă, să simtă texturi sau să declanșeze zgomote. În general aceste jucării sunt foarte colorate și zdrăngănitoare, mie însă mi-a plăcut ceva mai puțin pestriț de pe site-ul nichiduta.ro (link aici).

EN: As they grow, babies start to be tempted to touch the objects that they see, not only to observe them. So a spiral toy, hanged either by the stroller, the car seat or the crib can tempt them to touch, to feel textures or make noises. In general these toys are pretty colorful and noisy but I loved something a bit less colorful from nichiduta.ro website (link here).

Jucării zdrăngănitoare / Noisy Toys
RO: Cu cât sunt mai zdrăngănitoare, cu atât sunt mai atrăgătoare 🙂 Pentru Alexei, cea mai îndrăgită jucărie în perioada această (de 3-6 luni) a fost un ursuleț cu suport pentru a fi ținut ușor în mână de la Jumbo (extrem de ieftin și simplu, care însă ne-a salvat în multe situații critice :D). Am găsit una foarte similară pe site-ul jucariialtfel.ro (link aici). Există foarte multe astfel de jucării zdranganitoare, important este să fie ușoare și cât mai gălăgioase. Și mingea aceasta poate fi o opțiune interesantă, găsită tot pe site-ul jucariialtfel.ro (link aici).

EN: The noisier they are, the more attractive they become 🙂 For Alexei, the toy that he enjoyed the most during this period of time (3-6 months) was a teddy bear with a handle to be easily held in their arms, we bought it from Jumbo (very cheap and simple, but saved our lives in some critical situations :D). We found a very similar one on jucariialtfe.ro website (link here). There are lots of noisy toys, but what is important to take into consideration when choosing them is to be as light as possible and as nosiy as possible. This ball can also be an interesting option, found also on jucariialtfel.ro website (link here).

Jucării cu oglindă / Mirror Toys
RO: Pentru că încep să se descopere și să se recunoască, jucăriile cu oglindă sunt foarte potrivite pentru cei mici. Fie că este vorba de o oglindă simplă (specială pentru bebeluși, care nu se poate sparge), atârnată de centrul de activități pentru a ajunge ușor la ea, sau integrată într-o altă jucărie, o oglindă îl va ține ocupat și fascinat pe micuț. Am găsit cărticica aceasta senzorială cu oglindă integrată pe site-ul nichiduta.ro (link aici) și poate fi o opțiune bună de cadou, mai ales că include și alte jocuri pentru bebeluși.

EN: Because they begin to discover and recognize themselves, mirror toys are suitable for our little ones. Either a simple mirror (a special mirror created for babies so that they won’t brake), hanged on the activities center so that they can easily reach it, or even integrated in another toy, a mirror will keep the baby busy and fascinated. We found this sensorial book with an integrated mirror on nichiduta.ro website (link here) and it can be a good idea for present, as it also includes other toys for babies.

Şosete cu clopoţei / Bell socks
RO: Pare un cadou neinspirat, însă puiuții mici vor fi extrem de încântați să audă zgomotele zornăitoare ale șosetelor din picioare. Dacă le vor ține în picioare bineînțeles 🙂 La noi au funcționat de minune și încă și acum, la 18 luni, este extrem de încântat să le poarte prin casă și să se audă zornăind 🙂 Am găsit destul de multe modele la emag.ro (spre exemplu aici).

EN: It might look as an uninspired present, but the babies will be extremely happy to hear the noise produced by their socks. If they will agree to wear them, of course 🙂 In our case they were much appreciated and even now, at 18 months old, he loves wearing them in the house and hearing the noise made by them 🙂 We found a lot of models at emag.ro (for instance here).

BEBELUŞI 6-9 LUNI / 6-9 MONTHS BABIES

RO: Lucrurile deja devin interesante la această vârstă, atât pentru bebeluși cât și pentru părinți 🙂 Cel mai probabil bebelușii stau deja în șezut fără să fie susținuți, au început să mănânce mâncare solidă, râd cu poftă la fiecare “cucu-bau” auzit, poate că se rostogolesc sau merg de-a bușilea deja, și cu siguranță devin din ce în ce mai curioși. Jucăriile de tip acțiune-reacțiune sunt foarte potrivite la această vârstă (este interesant pentru ei să apese pe un buton și să se întâmple ceva – un zgomot spre exemplu), la fel ca și cele de stivuire (blocuri sau cuburi de pus unul peste altul). Începe să fie interesat de cărticele, nu neapărat de poveștile acestora, ci de imagini și culori. Iar masa în sine poate fi prilej de joacă, prin simplul fapt că explorează și descoperă mâncăruri, texturi, gusturi. Un set de farfurii și tacâmuri care să îi trezească bebelușului atenția pot fi o idee bună de cadou.

EN: At this age, things are starting to become more and more interesting, for both the bay and the parents 🙂 Most probably the babies are already standing without help, they’ve started eating solid food, they laugh at every peek-a-boo, maybe they can already roll or crawl and for sure they are becoming more and more curious. Action-reaction toys are suitable for this age (it is interesting for them to press a button that triggers an action – a noise for instance), as well as stacking toys (blocks or cubes that can be stacked one over the other). They are starting to be interested in books, not necessarily by the stories written in them, but by images and colors. And meals can also be a good oportunity for playing, through the simple fapt that they ca explore and discover foods, textures, tastes. A set of plates and cutlery that can attract the baby can also be a good idea for presents. 

Cărticica Mukibook / Mukibook Quiet Book
RO: Este vorba de o carte senzorială cu diverse pagini de activități pentru copii. Cartea poate fi folosită încă de la șase luni, având însă grijă să alegem activitățile potrivite vârstei (este menționată vârsta în dreptul fiecărei pagini). Cartea este foarte baby-friendly, nu folosește lipici sau alte substanțe toxice iar materialele sunt alese cu atenție. Există multe astfel cărticele senzoriale pe piață, însă aceasta este certificată (trece toate testele de siguranță pentru copii-are însemnul CE pe care îl găsim pe jucăriile vândute în Uniunea Europeană). Se poate personaliza (coperta, numele copilului, numărul de pagini, activitățile alese) direct pe site (link aici). Sincer, începând cu șase luni, aceasta poate fi un cadou extrem de potrivit, așa că recomandăm această idee de cadou și pentru categoriile de vârstă următoare.

EN: This is a quiet book with different pages with activities for children. The book can be used when the baby is six months old, just that we need to be careful and choose the activities that are suitable for their age (there is a mention on every page, indicating the corresponding age). The book is very baby friendly, it doesn’t have glue or other toxic substances and the fabrics are carefully chosen. There are lots of quiet books on the market, but this one is certified (it passes all safety tests for children – it has the CE indicator that we find on all toys that are sold in European Union). It can be personalized (the cover, the name of the child, the number of pages, the activities chosen) directly from their website (link here). Honestly, starting six months, this can be a really useful present, so we recommend it for the next categories of age as well. 

Tacâmuri și farfurii pentru diversificare / Cutlery and plates for solid food
RO: Aici avem mai multe recomandări 🙂 Inițial am optat pentru tacâmuri și farfurii cât mai simple cromatic (sunt unele absolut superbe, din bambus, în niște culori foarte plăcute, la adinish.com, link aici) însă ulterior am realizat că Alexei este mult mai atras de cele colorate sau cu diverse printuri (în special cele cu animale). Așa că am încercat și colecția Sebra de la adinish.com (link aici) care au avut și încă au mare succes. Iar în ultima vreme suntem fascinați de produsele de la dodoli.ro, făcute tot din bambus, simple dar cu ventuze colorate (link aici). Și cutiuțele pentru pachețel pot fi o idee bună de cadou și foarte practică pentru părinți. Tot la adinish.com am găsit unele adorabile, în formă de diverse animăluțe (noi avem ursulețul, link aici).

EN: Here we have more recommendations 🙂 We initially wanted to have simple and non colorful plates and cutlery (we found gorgeous ones, made of bamboo, with very nice colors at adinish.com, link here) but then we realized that Alexei is more attracted by the colorful ones or the ones with different patterns (especially those with animals). So we also tried Sebra collction from adinish.com (link here) that were and still are very appreciated. And lately we are fascinated by the products from dodoli.ro, made as bamboo as well, simple, but with colorful air suction (link here). And lunch boxes can also be a good idea for presents and they are very practical for parents. At adinish.com we found some adorable ones, in the shappe of different animals (we have the bear, link here). 

Bavețică funny / Funny Bib
RO: Cel mai probabil un bebeluș care a început deja diversificarea are deja cel puțin o bavețică practică și cât mai acoperitoare 🙂 Însă șansele să aibă ceva amuzant sunt destul de mici, așa că această poate fi o idee interesantă de cadou. Părinții prinși în toată vâltoarea gătitului pentru cei mici probabil că nu au stat să se gândească la aspectul unei bavetici, așa că în mod cert se vor bucură și ei, și cei mici de un cadou amuzant. Am găsit unele extrem de simpatice la davidandthea.com (link aici). Sau o bavețică-bluză, care să îmbrace complet copilașul la masă (link aici). E adevărat că există și la Ikea unele extraordinar de bune (din material care nu se pătează) însă acestea de la David and Thea sunt foarte frumușele 🙂 Sunt perfecte pentru a fi oferite cadou 🙂 Am găsit unele extrem de simpatice și la magazinul Șoricelul Micuț (link aici).

EN: A baby that has started eating solid food most probably already has at least one practical and covering bib 🙂 But chances to have something funny are quite small, so it might be a good idea for present. Parents that are caught in the cooking-for-baby whirlpool don’t have enough time to think about the aspect of a bib, so they will definitely enjoy such a present, as well as the little ones. We found some really nice ones at davidandthea.com (link here). Or a blouse-bib, that covers the baby completely when eating (link here). It is true that there are also some extraordinary ones at Ikea (from a stainless fabric) but these ones from David and Thea are really beautiful 🙂 And perfect as a gift :)We also found some nicee ones at Soricelul Micut store (link here).

RO: Pentru bebelușii care nu fac scandal la baie (cum a fost cazul nostru până aproape de un an :D), jucăriile de baie pot fi de asemenea un cadou foarte drăguț. Rățuște de baie (link aici), litere și cifre care se lipesc pe pereții căzii (link aici), jucării care plutesc, cănuțe cu sită, cărți pentru baie (link aici), colac de gât pentru bebeluși (link aici), orice poate fi o idee bună.

EN: For those babies that do enjoy bath time (not our case until almost one year :D), bath toys can also be a cute idea for present. Bath ducks (link here), letters and numbers that can be sticked to the walls (link here), floating toys, bathtub riddles, books for bath time (link here), inflatable baby swimming float ring (link here), anything can be a good idea.

Sortator forme / Shape sorter
RO: După vârstă de 8 luni bebelușul începe să înțeleagă astfel de jocuri și devine foarte interesat de forme. Există foarte multe jucării de acest tip, nouă ne-au plăcut întotdeauna cele de lemn. Am găsit unele drăguțe (pe care le și avem) la Little Dutch (link aici), însă sunt foarte multe opțiuni pe piață. Am găsit unele similare la adinish.com, de la brandul Kid’s Concept (link aici).

EN: After the age of 8 months the baby starts to understand how to play with this kind of games and becomes interested in shapes. There are lots of toys with shape sorters, we always loved the ones made of wood. We found really nice ones (which we actually have) at Little Dutch (link here) but there are lots of options on the market. We found similar ones at adinish.com, from Kid’s Concept brand (link here).

BEBELUŞI 9-12 LUNI / 9-12 MONTHS BABIES

RO: Este vârsta la care bebelușii sunt înnebuniți după jucării, după sortat, după lumini, culori, orice 🙂 Vor să cunoască, să vadă, să descopere, să umble prin casă după diferite jucării, sunt din ce în ce mai exploratori 🙂 Este o vârstă foarte bună și pentru introducerea diverselor cărticele care îi ajută să învețe cuvinte, culori, animale. Și pentru că este o vârstă la care cei mai mulți bebeluși încep să se ridice în picioare sau chiar să meargă deja, cadourile care îi pot ajuta în a-și dezvolta abilității motorii pot fi potrivite, dacă și părinții sunt de acord cu acestea. Cert e că vârsta aceasta vine cu o grămadă de posibilități de joacă (însă și cu muuuult mai multe responsabilități și griji pentru părinți :D).

EN: This is the age when babies are crazy about toys, about sorting, about lights, colors, anything 🙂 They want to know, to see, to discover, to wander around the house in search for toys, they love exploring more and more 🙂 It is a good age for introducing baby books that will help them teach words, colors, animals. And because this is also the age when most of the babies start to stand or even walk by themselves, the presents that can help them develop their motor abilities can also be appropriate, if the parents also agree. One thing is certain, this age comes with a lot of opportunities for playing (but also with looooots of responsabilities and worries for the parents :D).

RO: Orice cărticică cu butoane și sunete va fi de mare succes 🙂 Noi am avut (și încă avem și folosim) cărticele de la Usborne, cea cu ferma de animale este de departe cea mai apreciată de Alexei. Încă o mai folosim chiar și acum (link aici). Însă există și alte variante la diverse magazine speciale pentru copii. Cam orice carte care produce sunete și are imagini atractive va fi un cadou bun 🙂

EN: Any book with buttons and sounds will be a real success 🙂 We had (and still have it) Usborne books and the one with animal farm is by far the most appreciated by Alexei. We are still using it even now (link here). Actually any sound book with attractive images will be a good present 🙂

Flap Books
RO: Cărticele cu “usite” care ascund diverse lucruri interesante. Sunt o nebunie curată pentru copii, chiar și cei micuți, de până un an. Cea mai de succes cărticică a fost See Inside An Airport, de la Usborne (link aici), pe care am folosit-o până când toate ușițele au fost rupte complet. Apoi am comandat o carte nou nouță, pe care o folosim și acum.

EN: Books with flaps that hide different interesting things. These are a total madness for children, even for the little ones, younger than one year.For us, the most successful flap book was See Inside An Airport, from Usborne (link here) and we used it until all the flaps were completely broken. Then we ordered a new one, that we are still using it now.

Jucării de stivuire / Stacking toys
RO: Orice fel de jucării cu ajutorul cărora pot pune obiecte (cuburi, blocuri, cercuri, orice) unul peste altul. Extrem de frumoase sunt cele din lemn (am găsit unele la Little Dutch, link aici), însă există foarte multe alte variante, și cei de la Filibabba (brandul acesta se găsește la adinish.com) au unele minunate (link aici). Noi încercăm pe cât posibil să cumpărăm cât mai puține jucari din plastic (din păcate nu reușim intotdeuna), de aceea recomandările noastre includ în mod special jucăriile de lemn.

EN: Any kind of toy that allows the baby to put objects on top of each other (cubes, blocks, circles, anything). The wooden ones are extremely beautiful (we found ones at Little Dutch, link here) but there are many other options, Filibabba (this brand can be found at adinish.com) have some amazing ones (link here). We are usually trying to avoid buying plastic toys (unfortunately we don’t always succeed), and that’s why we usually recommend wooden toys. 

Seria de carticele Hoinari prin Anotimpuri / “All Around Bustletown” Series
RO: Este o serie de patru cărticele, extrem de renumite și apreciate de copiii mici pentru că au foarte multe imagini și personaje care le pot atrage atenția. Noi le folosim de dinainte de a împlini Alexei un an și încă este foarte interesat de ele. Nu avem însă varianta în română (dar poate că nici nu e necesară, doar titlul este scris, în rest sunt doar imagini, fără text). Am găsit însă întreaga colecție aici.

EN: This is a four book series, very famous and appreciated by young children because they have lots of images and characters that can attract them. We are using them since Alexei was younger than one year and he is still very captured by them. We don’t have the Romanian version of these books (but it is not necessary to have it as only the title is the only text in the book, the other pages are only with images and no text). We found the entire collection here.

Numărătoare / Abacus
RO: Nu că ar fi cazul deja să știe să numere la nici un an împlinit, însă o numărătoare colorată îi poate atrage extrem de mult. Și poate fi folosită multă vreme, chiar și când copilul crește. Sincer această este o lecție pe care am învățat-o de când tot primim, cumpărăm și folosim jucării pentru Alexei: să investim în acele jucării pe care le poate folosi vreme îndelungată, care îi stimulează creativitatea și care pot oferi variante multe de jucat. Iar o numărătoare cu siguranță poate face acest lucru. Am găsit una foarte interesantă pe siteul davidandthea.com (link aici).

EN: Not that kids should already know how to count at less than one year, but a colorful abacus can attract them quite a lot. And it can be used for a long time, even when the child is growing. Honestly, this is a lesson that we’ve learned since we receive, buy and use toys for Alexei: to invest in those toys that he can use for a long period of time, that stimulate his creativity and can offer plenty of options to play. And an abacus can definitely do that. We found a really nice one on davidandthea.com website (link here). 

Puzzle de lemn / Wood Puzzle
RO: Puzzle-uri simple, din lemn, cu forme mari, ușor de recunoscut. Am găsit unele extrem de frumoase la Zara Home (link aici), pe care le și avem de altfel, însă sunt unele foarte frumoase și la adinish.com (link aici).

EN: Simple wooden puzzles, with large shapes, easy to recognize. We found really beautiful ones at Zara Home (link here), we also have these, but there are others equally beautiful at adinish.com (link here). 

Galetusa de plaja flexibila / Flexibile beach bucket
RO: Poate că nu e cel mai inspirat cadou în plină iarnă, însă pentru părinții călători, care merg cu cei mici peste mari și țări, ar putea fi de mare folos. Găletușa găsită la davidandthea.com (link aici), pe care o avem și noi și pe care am folosit-o foarte mult în vacanțele la mare, este flexibilă, ușor de luat în bagaj iar copiilor le place enorm. Fiind un produs mai costisitor, poate fi ideal de oferit cadou.

EN: This might not be an inspired present during the holiday season, but for travelling parents, that are travelling all around the world with their little ones, it could be really useful. The bucket we have was found at davidandthea (link here) and we used it quite a lot in our travels at the seaside, it is flexible, easy to be taken in our luggage and kids love it. As it is a bit pricey, it is ideal as a present. 

Antemergător / Baby Walker
RO: Nu toți părinții sunt de acord cu antemergătoarele, așa că indicat ar fi de verificat acest lucru înainte de a-l face cadou. Sunt multe opțiuni pe piață, unele mai potrivite, altele mai puțin, însă important este ca produsul ales să fie unul care să îi permită copilului să se joace în siguranță, fără să se accidenteze, mai ales atunci când îl împinge (să nu cadă, să nu se răstoarne peste copil, să nu meargă prea repede etc). Noi am avut un antemergător care includea un mic centru de activități, și în mod special l-am folosit pentru jucat, nu neapărat pentru învățat să meargă. Am încercat să nu îi grăbim mersul, ci să îl lăsăm să se ridice în ritmul său. Din seria cadourilor simple și minimaliste, am găsit antermegatorul acesta frumos pe site-ul catenlunasinstele.ro (link aici).

EN: Not all parents agree with baby walkers, so it would be good to check that before buying it as a present. There are lots of options on the market, some of them better for children, some of them not, but it is important to choose a product that allows the child to play safely, without hurting himself, especially when he pushes the walker (this should not fall over the baby, should walk too fast etc). We used a walker that included a small center of activities and we mainly used it for playing, not necessarily walking. We tried not to speed the process of learning how to walk and wanted to leave him to stand and walk whenever he was ready to do it. From our list of simple and minimal presents, we found this nice walker on catenlunasinstele.ro website (link here). 

Cort sau baldachin / Tent or canopy
RO: Și noi am crezut că acestea sunt potrivite pentru copiii mai mari, însă am fost surprinși să vedem cât de încântat era Alexei de ascunsul în cort încă de la vârsta de 11 luni. Cu siguranță poate fi o idee bună de cadou pentru cei mici, iar opțiunile sunt nenumărate! Cam toate site-urile menționate în acest articol au și variante de corturi, însă cele care ne-au atras nouă atenția în ultima perioadă sunt cele de la Cortul Fermecat, au niște baldachine superbe, absolut superbe!

EN: We also thought that these are suitable for bigger children, but we were surprised to see how excited Alecei was when he was hiding in the tent, even when he was just 11 months old. For sure it can be a good idea for a present for our little ones and the options are endless! Almost all the websites mentioned in this article have tents but the ones that we loved the most were the ones from Cortul Fermecat, they have some gorgeous, absolutely gorgeous canopies!

Turnul Leea / Leea Tower
RO: Turnul de învățare de la Leea Toys este recomandat pentru vârsta de după un an, sau și mai devreme chiar, dacă bebelușul stă deja bine în picioare. Sunt o mulțime de activități care pot fi făcute cu copiii cu acest turn, foarte multe accesorii care pot fi adăugate turnului (tăblița cu usite cu diverse încuietori, tabla de scris, masa de desenat, tobogan, cutii etc). Noi îl folosim zilnic încă de la un an, și asta pentru că Alexei vrea să fie foarte prezent în toate activitățile zilnice (gătit, pregătit masa etc), iar cu acesta poate sta în siguranță lângă mine.

EN: The learning tower from Leea Toys is recommended for kids over one year, or even younger if they are able to stand by themselves. There are lots of activities that can be done with the babies in this tower, many accessories that can be added to the tower (a board with doors with different lockers, a blackboard, a drawing table, a slide, different boxes etc). We are using it daily since one year and that’s because Alexei wants to be very present in our daily activities (cooking, preparing dinner etc) and with the tower he can safely stay close to me.

RO: În mod cert sărbătorile sunt un prilej bun de a oferi cadouri, însă de multe ori cei mici primesc cadouri de care fie nu au nevoie, fie nu sunt potrivite vârstei, fie sunt genul acela de produse pe care părinții încearcă să le evite. Iar dacă ar fi să oferim un sfat, am zice că cele mai importante cadouri sunt cele care pot fi folosite mai multă vreme, care pot fi “reinventate” și care stimulează creativitatea copilului și a părintelui. Sperăm să fie de folos lista noastră de cadouri pentru bebelușii și copiii de până într-un an, iar de aveți alte recomandări interesante, le așteptăm cu drag, pentru a completa lista 🙂

EN: The holiday season is for sure a good reason to ofer presents, but sometimes our little ones receive presents that maybe they don’t need, they are not appropriate for their age or they are exactly that type of products that parents want to avoid. And if we were to offer an advice, we would say that the most important presents are those that can be used for a longer time, that can be “reinvented” and can stimulate the creativity of the child and also the parent.
