Bar of the World – Heineken

RO: Adevarul e ca de muuuuulta vreme nu am mai fost atat de incantati de o campanie, incat sa povestim intruna despre ideea geniala a celor de la Heineken. Cum sa iei tu ditamai cladirea din centrul Bucurestiului si sa ii transformi fiecare etaj cu decoruri dementiale specifice fiecarei dintre cele patru tari alese in campanie, in asa fel incat noi s-avem senzatia ca am facut intr-adevar turul lumii intr-o singura seara? Cu pasapoartele la purtator, gata sa fie umplute de stampile de la “granita” barurilor, c-un lift responsabil pentru teleportarea dintr-o tara-ntr-alta si cu multa bere pe parcurs (in loc de kerosen :D). Si cum ar fi sa-ncepi intreaga aventura cu o lectie de supravietuire in jungla amazoniana, printre bambusi si copaci inalti (cine-a spus ineptia cum ca ne-am afla la primul etaj al unei cladiri de birouri de la Universitate?!), apoi sa o continui cu escapada nipona, printre portile de la Fushimi Inari, gradina japoneza, ryokanul traditional, lectiile de mancat cu betigase si cercul incomplet reprezentand karma in tatatuajele de pe brate 😀 Si cand ti-e lumea mai draga ajungi cat ai clipi in fascinanta Islanda, si-ncerci sa razbati prin ghetarul Vatnajokull (parc-am zarit si o crevasa :D) pentru ca apoi sa-ti tremure genunchii si sa-ti transpire palmele pe marginea prapastiei, gata-gata sa cazi in cine stie ce cascada uriasa (ca sa linistim totusi spiritele, e vorba de un joc de VR :D). Si nu poti spune Heineken fara sa apara si Amsterdam-ul in discutie! Asa ca ultimul etaj al Barului Lumii este plin de biciclete, cladiri tipice amsterdameze, birouri de DJ, muzica bumti-bumti si fara doar si poate, Heineken cat cuprinde 🙂 Si-acum ca sa fim sinceri, de multa vreme ne batea un gand sa facem o nebunie si sa plecam vreo doua luni in jurul lumii, in Round the World-ul dupa care tot tanjim de-atatia ani. Si daca om mai fi uitat pe parcursul timpului de planurile pe care le aveam, evenimentul Heineken ne-a cam dat idei. Crete 😀

EN: Honestly, we have never been so impressed by a marketing campaign as we are now, when we talk all over again about the genius idea Heineken had. Can you imagine to rent a huge building in the center of Bucharest and transform every floor in gorgeous settings, all typical for the four countries chosen for the campaign so that we can really feel that we’ve done a complete tour of the world in only one night? With our passports ready to be filled with stamps from the bar “borders”, an elevator responsible for sending us from one country to another and a lot of beer on the way (instead of kerosene :D). And how would it be to start the entire adventure with a survival lesson in the Amazon rain forest, among bamboo trees and other tall trees (who dared to say that we are actually at the first floor of an office building at University Square?!) and then to continue with a Nipponese getaway, among the orange gates from Fushimi Inari, the Japanese garden, the traditional ryokan, the chopstick eating lessons and the tattoo with the incomplete circle representing the karma on our arms 😀 And when you least expect it, we arrive to the fascinating Iceland, trying to get through the Vatnajokull glacier (hey, there’s a crevasse out there!) and then our knees are trembling and our hands are swaeting on the edge of the abyss, ready to fall into who-knows-what huge waterfall (to calm down the spirits, we’re talking about a VR game :D). And you cannot say Heineken without mentioning Amsterdam! So the last floor of the Bar of the World is full of bicycles, typical Dutch buildings, DJ tables, lot of music and of course, Heineken as far as the eyes can see 😀 And now, let’s be honest, for such a long time we wanted to do something crazy and leave a couple of months around the world. And if during the time we might have forgotten about our plans, Heineken event reminded us about our courageous plans 😀
