RO: Mai, mai, mai, om bate noi apa in piua cu frigul si zapada si inghetul, dar uite ca facem ce facem si ne intoarcem la climate mai prietenoase. Si vrand-nevrand, recunoastem! Ne e dor de o plimbare pe strazile singalezilor, de un urcat pe roca Sigiriya pana de apuca tremuratul genunchilor de la atata trepte. Ori de o aglomeratie nebuna la Templul Dintelui lui Buddha in coloratul si agitatul Kandy. Ori de o priveliste dementiala vazuta de suuuus, din varf de munte, cu toate plantatiile de ceai si vegetatia si statuile lui Buddha vazute-n departare. Da, ne e dor de o vacanta la caldura! De un roti, de un curry picant, de vreun pescar in varf de bat, de o Hikkaduwa, de un trafic infernal 🙂 Aaaah, dar nu despre asta voiam sa va povestim, ci despre CMOOD, un nou designer roman descoperit inainte de plecarea in Sri Lanka, pentru care am facut o adevarata obsesie. Si noi, si tot poporul roman, ca sigur stiti deja gentutele de paie cu accesoriile de piele colorata. EN: Well, well, well, we keep insisting with the cold weather and the snow and frostiness, but seems that no matter what we do or say, we go back to more friendly climates 🙂 And like it or not, we have to admit it! We miss wandering the streets in Sri Lanka, climbing all those stairs from Sigiriya rock until our knees are trembling . We miss the crowds and crams from the Buddha’s Temple of the Tooth in the colorful and hectic Kandy. We miss that view seen from up above the mountain, with all those tea plantations and the lush vegetation and the Buddha’s statues seen at distance. Yup, we totally miss a vacation in a warmer place! We miss the rotis, the spicy curries, the stilt fishermen, we miss Hikkaduwa beach, the terrific traffic 🙂 Aaaaah, but that’s not what we wanted to talk about. We wanted to say a few words about CMOOD, a new Romanian designer discovered right before our trip to Sri Lanka, for which we already have an obsession. Us and all the rest of the Romanian people, as you probably already know those straw handbags with colorful leather accessories.
