RO: Facem cum facem si ne intoarcem iar si iaaaaar la ea, Islanda albastra, cum ne-ar spune Daniel Iordachioaie 🙂 Printre bucati uriase de gheata care trosnesc si se desprind de “ghetarul-mama”, printre campuri intinse de lava acoperite de muschi buretos, lupini movulii, plaje negre, valuri asurzitoare, peisaje selenare, pietre de granit sculptate in paralelipipede perfecte, vulcani, cascade, elfi, izvoare geotermale, gheizere, off road, iar piatra, iar zapada, iar vant de te ia pe sus, ici o ploaie mocaneasca, colo o furtuna de nisip.

EN: No matter what we do, we keep talking over and over again about the blue Iceland, as a Romanian song would say 🙂 Among huge chunks of ice cracking and dislocating from the “mother-glacier”, among large lava fields covered in spongy moss, purple lupines, black beaches, shattering waves, the moonscape, granite rocks carved into perfect parallelepipeds, volcanoes, waterfalls, elves, hot springs, geysers, off road, rocks again, snow again, haughty wind, here some drizzle, there some sand storm.

RO: Si gata, stop, opreste-te din insirat si pune odata punct la propozitie! Dar uite exact asa ne ia valul cand vine vorba de Islanda si nu ne mai tace gura pana dimineata. Cert e ca tanjim sa ne intoarcem pe meleaguri islandeze, si cand ne uitam la pozele facute in iunie, ne apuca isteria. N-am vazut pe lume un loc in care sa te simti mai putin… hmm… pamantean. Da, Islanda e desprinsa din alta lume, si nu degeaba au tinut-o vikingii ascunsa numai pentru ei. Cica Ice-Land. Ice-Land-ul devine din ce in ce mai verde si din ce in ce mai atragator. Si nu, nu dupa Euro 2016. Noooo, au avut alta campanie de marketing mai ieftina de-atat. Gratis, mai exact. Pai nu? Dupa ce si-a facut de cap Eyjafjallajokull in 2010, de a bagat in sperieti aviatia in Europa, tot mapamondul vrea sa vada ce-i cu bucatica asta de pamant buclucasa din mijloc de Atlantic. Da, si dupa cum ziceam, iar o tinem danga-langa fara limita. Cand de fapt si de drept voiam sa vorbim despre un nou designer roman talentat 🙂 Si anume Concepto Line si gecile lor fabuloase de piele. Fabuloase si personalizate, nu asa oricum! 🙂

EN: And enough, stop enumerating all these and finish the sentence once and for all! But that’s exactly what happens when we start talking about Iceland and we cannot stop till the sun is up 🙂 One thing is for certain, we’re longing to go back on Icelandic lands and when we’re browsing through the pictures taken in June, we simply go crazy. We haven’t seen a more surreal place on this Earth. Yes, Iceland is taken out of this world and there’s no wonder that the vikings kept it hidden just for themselves. They called it Ice-Land. But this Ice-Land is becoming greener and greener and more and more appealing. And no, not after the Euro 2016. Nooo, they had a much more cheaper marketing campaign. More precisely, free. Well, after Eyjafjallajokull erupted in 2010, scaring the hell out of Europe’s aviation, the entire world wants to see what’s going on with this roguish piece of land in the middle of the Atlantic. And yes, as we were saying, we keep talking on and on with no limit. When in fact we just wanted to tell you about a new talented Romanian fashion designer 🙂 And that’s Concepto Line and their fabulous leather jackets. Fabulous and personalized! 🙂
