RO: Azi in Timisoara, maine-n toata tara! Si-n toata lumea! Da, cam asta-i planul, sa ducem toti designerii romani peste mari si tari si sa spunem cat om putea de tare ca tara noastra nu numai ca e frumoasa de pica, dar mai are si o groaza de oameni frumosi si talentati, care fac ei ce fac si scot niste minunatii din mainile lor, de te intrebi unde incape atata creativitate 🙂 Si unde, dar unde sa te lauzi tu cu romanii tai, daca nu in Timisoara? Unde toti peretii-s plin de arta stradala, unde ai muzee la tot pasul si piese de teatru si tot soiul de evenimente de nici nu stii ce sa alegi intai si-ntai? Pai mai e de mirare ca in 2021 o sa fie Timisoara noastra capitala culturala europeana? Iar pana atunci, printre lucrari de renovare prin centrul vechi, printre terase unde se aud ciocnind halbele de Timisoreana rece bocna, printre umbrelute colorate pe strada Alba Iulia, printre caramizile colorate de la Bastion si printre parcuri intinse si verzi pe malul Begai (apropo, Timisoara cic-ar fi Mica Viena), ne plimbam mandri tare ca am descoperit un nou designer roman: Andra Paduraru, cea care face gentile frumoase de la Sophie. EN: Today in Timisoara, tomorrow throughout the country!* Well yup, that’s the plan! To take all the Romanian designers in our travels and let the world know that our country is not only extremely beautiful, but it also has nice and talented people, who make gorgeous things out of their hands, that you really wonder where do they find so much creativity? 🙂 And where could we do that, if not in Timisoara? Where all the walls are full of mural paintings, where you have museums and theaters and all sort of nice events all around?! So there’s no wonder that in 2021 Timisoara will be one of the European Cultural Capitals! And until then, among all the renovations from the old city center, the nice terraces where you can hear the clinks of the pints of Timisoreana beer, the colorful umbrellas on Alba Iulia street, the colorful bricks from the Bastion and the green, large parks on the shores of Bega (by the way, they say that Timisoara is the Little Wien), we are proudly wandering around, happy to have discovered another Romanian designer: Andra Paduraru, who makes the beautiful bags from Sophie.
